Are Hydrocortisone Injections a suitable replacement for Cortef Tablets

I am temporarily living in Mexico and cannot find Cortef or other hydrocortisone tablets yet hydrocortisone injections are available. For short or long term would the injections be a suitable replacement? I take cortef due to a pituitary tumor. Thanks!
