I started developing a red, non-itchy rash about a week and a half ago. It initially began as a patch on the underside of my left arm. I am a school nurse & thought I had gotten ring worm from one of the students, as the spot was very similar in appearance. I began using Lamasil cream twice daily, but there has been no change in the spot's appearance. Within a few days I noticed another spot further down the arm and one on the inner elbow. Then, I began developing more of the spots on my lower abdomen and some on my right breast. I have tried using the Lamasil on all of them to no avail. I then bought some over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream and began applying that, but again, no change.
The only change that I have had recently is that I began taking red clover and DHEA for perimenopausal symptoms. I can't find any information as to whether or not either of these cause rashes. It's not hives...as a nurse, I know what hives look like....they do blanch (become white when pressed on & then return to a red color)...they are raised...and most of them are about the size of a pencil's eraser.
If anyone can give me some in-site as to what this is and what might be causing it, I would be greatly appreciative. I'm planning on going to see my physician next week, but since I usually see a nurse practitioner, I'm not sure if I'm going to get an accurate diagnosis or not.

I've had exactly the same thing you described for almost two years! I've been tested for lupus, patch tests, skin biopsy, still don't know what it its. I'm going to ask for food allergy tests next. Cuz now I have allergic conjunctivitis and runny noise all the time too....

I`ve had the same thing on my back for over a year. Recently it has spread to my right breast. It doesn`t itch though. I went to a doctor and they told me it was a heat rash.... But i`ve had it for over a year! Does this mean i`m getting overhaeted when it`s 20 degrees outside... I don`t think so. They can`t tell me! If anyone has an answer as to what this might be, I would GREATLY appreciate it!

I notice the rash when I got up this morning. Most of the rash between my breasts, some down my abdomen, and alittle at my upper arms. I press on the rash and it stays red. It doesn't itch but I don't feel like myself. I have a small headache and feel like I'm getting a head cold.

I have the same rash, started under my armpits and has spread across my chest and abdomen. Is there any cream that worked or results from a doctor that were successful?

Had my rash for almost two years now. Pn the side of one breast, uder both breasts and near one armpit. Other than visual, it is not a bother.
Dermatologist biopsy came back as collection of histamines under the skin. He had never heard of this. It seems to have stopped spreading, but would like to get rid of the discoloration. Dr said body might re-absorb it in a couple of years.
What's the name of that cream?

I'm 14 and have the same thing, really scared and don't want it to spread. It about 0.7mm and oddly circular, cannot see it anywhere other than under left arm

I've had the same thing since I got pregnant 6 years ago. It's on my stomach, breasts, back and shoulders. It doesn't itch or bother me in any way. I clean the skin with a toner/astringent and it goes away but it always comes back. Could it be hormonal??

There is a very rare auto immune disease that will cause a woman to break out in a rash that typically begins in the bends of the arms and spreads from there. The rash will typically come and go following the menstration cycle. This is because in these rare cases the body has turned on the woman's hormones and is effectively attacking itself. Most cases are mild but some can develop into pretty serious problems.

Solution-> Can you tell me how to find this auto immune disease? What is the name? I have symptoms as those listed above. Everything I have searched online, for multiple days...on rashes..the closest I could find resembling is pytiriasis lichenoide. Thank you.
