I have the same problem it started as skin colored then I scratchEd them and they are beginning to look like little pimples. I went to the school nurse and she said they were chiggers so I put nail polish on the affected area to try to get them to go away, but they haven't. Before I went to the nurse I woke up itching my inner elbow and then noticed I was also itchy under my then noticed another rash on my ear lobe. Please help!

I've been getting those red bumps as well, but its hard to find out if this is something similar. I started getting large red irritated bumps on my arms. The bumps spread, but seem to be contained to my arms, legs and lower back. I went to my doctor who said that it might be bug bites or scabies, but she only saw it when it had gone down a bit. When they first appear, the bumps are roughly the size or a quarter or larger. This has been happening for about a month.

I noticed a couple of red mosquito like bumps on my legs at first, within 2 weeks they spread to my stomach and arms. There aren't that many but they itch like crazy just like a mosquito bite. Ive not been in the garden, on holiday, around pets or have any known allergies. The only thing I can think of is a very bad cold/flu I had about 3 weeks before my first bump appeared. Doctors are treating it as an allergic reaction. I'm not convinced. This morning I woke to find my 3 year old with the same thing. Seems it could be contagious.

I've had thus for 2 YEARS! Started with a few bumps and they didn't itch at first but within the last 6 months they've been itchy and have started to spread. They are ALL over my legs a couple bumps on my left arm and a few on my face. I hate the freaking things! I don't know what to do!:'( They are so gross looking.

It sounds like you guys have a lot of different things going on! But for those of you with the small pink rash that spreads like crazy and itches mildly, but only itches badly if you scratch it, I think it might be heat rash / sun poisoning or an allergic reaction. If it doesn't go away, then it is an allergic reaction to something you are in constant contact with and you should probably get an allergy test from your dr. to find out what it is that you are allergic to. If it does go away it is probably a heat rash, as I get this 1-2 times every summer after a really hot day where i've been outside in the sun a lot.... although this is the worst it has been so I'm going to the dr. to ease my mind. If I'm wrong, I'll let you know when I get home from the doc.

So it rts off with one or two small bumps that itch and are red. Normally I itch them without thinking and when I do, more bumps appear and the area gets very itchy and red. If I ignore it- the redness/itchiness goes away but the bumps remain. It's been a week and I still have it- started near my wrist, moved up a bit (just a bump or two every few inches) to the under side of my elbow. It just yesterday started to itch on the underside of my other arm elbow, but no bumps on the entire arm besides that. I just noticed a few on the under side of my knees (both legs), a few on the front of my right leg (few inches below the knee on the front), 1 on my stomach and 2 on my back.
They all take turns itching but I'm pretty good at resisting. If I do itch them then the itching becomes very intense but like I said, it passes- just the bumps remain.
Any thoughts?? I was hoping they'd go away by now but they're still here!
My roommate is having a very severe reaction- a huge rash all over her stomach, arms, and neck. The bumps are different for her it seems, though, and her doctors think it's allergies. She got a shot yesterday and has not seen much difference. But it doesn't seem contagious or anything but we also don't really share anything except a couch.
mostly things like that are picked up by something you either did not know or possibly developed a new allergy. Please seea dermatologist until the cortisone

First I started with pimples on my arms, thought it was razor bumps! I moved wit a friend that had small ants and the pimples started 2 spread and get very itchy! Thought I was getting biten by these ants both my arms and legs and a few on my chest and face! I moved out of there and. Waited 2 weeks and went to the hospital 2 get help! They said ant bites and gave me steriod n told me do not shave or use any cremes! Took the meds didn't chave used no lotions and tried like crazy not to itch! Still there and geting worse! Sometimes the pimples get big and very red and when I pop it a puss comes out like a pimple and its hot and red n very itchy! I don't no what this is but my skin which used 2 be perfect is all scared and pimpled, very embarrassing! I don't no what to do anymore! HELP!!

A few weeks ago, my brother was diagnosed with eczma but since then the spots (not pimples or blister like but look like actual normal spots) have spread to myself, my mum and my dad (who doesn't even live with us). They get really itchy when we are warm and they have spread from the wrist to elbows, shoulders and legs so far. The medication my brother is using for eczma isn't working and we thought maybe it might be scabies but after looking them up, it doesn't seem to be the same thing. Others have suggested flea bites but again, they do not look or act like flea bites and all of our household pets have been put on flea shampoo. I've heard of a few instances that make me think thats what we have such as the supposed skin plague that is going around America but we live in the UK so I'm unsure if it is the same thing.
I'd be very appreciative if anyone could identify what we all might have since the doctors we have talked to don't seem to know.

I HAVE THE SAME ITCH,
MAINLY ON MY LEGS & ON MY RIGHT ARM..
I THOUGHT IT WAS FLEE BITES OR HIVES OR ALLERGIC REACTION... BUT THEY POP UP AND ITCH LIKE CRAZY, IF I KEEP SCRATCHING THEM THEY GET A LIL BIGGER AND MORE ITCHY...
IM THINKNIN IT COULD BE AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO THE SUN RAYS, TOO MUCH EXPOSSURE. BECAUSE THE SUN IS A LIL CLOSER THAN NORMAL THIS YEAR AN I LIVE IN CENTRAL CALIFORNIA WHERE ITS ALWAYS SUNNY & HOTT.. COME TO THINK OF IT I GET THE BUMPS ONLY IN EXPOSED AREAS, CUZ I ONLY WEAR SHORTS AN SHORT SLEEVES..BUT OTHER THAN THE REST OF MY BODY IM GOOD...
I DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS BUT IVE NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE!!!!

thats exactly what i was thinking way before i started to research my itch problem.. i only get the bumps in exposed areas due to always wearing shorts and short sleeve & especially cuz i live in hot sunny central california....

Mine started as what I thought was mosquito bites while I was in Fla last month. While in Fla. my son and his girlfriend found bedbugs on his mattress and threw it out immediately and sprayed. I had exterminator come when I got home and he inspected and found nothing. Happy me! Now I've got more mosquito-like bites AND these lumps that itch like crazy. Mostly on wrist and elbow and top of feet and toes. Today I found a large one on back of upper arm. Have been using benadryl cream which helps for awhile but they keep coming. Making Dr. appt. today. Will stay in touch.

Sounds like some of you might have ringworm. Try an anti-fungal cream on them for a few weeks and see if that helps.

Try putting Calamine lotion on the bumps and infected areas. The lotion should stop the itching and dry out the bumps. The bumps are actually 'pustules' when you scratch them they let out a clear "ooze" for lack of better words which gets under your nails and when you make contact with other parts of skin makes it spread... So use the lotion, avoid itching. If this doesn't work see a doctor, this could be something else.
This writer makes real sense. I now understand how they are spreading. Thanks for sharing your insight.

Sounds like a lot of you have large, red, itchy bumps that are on your arms, legs, backs, maybe even your face. You might want to look in to bedbugs. Especially if you or someone close has traveled to or from your house. You don't have to go across seas to get these critters. Riding with others, buses, hotels, used furniture. Just check because they are very hard to get rid of and chigger bits are similar but if the sulfur isn't working then I strongly recommend you checking your home.
