About a year and a half ago, after a 3-some, I noticed something odd (first-time ever) that I self-diagnosed via Internet as a yeast infection. Someone suggested Monistat on the board and it cleared it up quickly. HURRAY!
Then early last month, after spending some time w/one of the women mentioned previously, it came back. Monistat didn't seem to work wonders, so maybe its different? Went to my doc, who didn't really diagnose, but prescribed Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream USP. Worked like a charm in only about four days! HURRAY!
Hope my experiences will help someone else.

OK!! i have some good news for maybe alot of you, i have had this problems for most my life, im 24, its just that some people have more of a sensitive penis, and to certain things possibly, so i Highly recommend;

DO NOT WASH YOUR UNDIES/BREIFS with any soap or anything at all just warm water! and then put them in the dryer to kill any bacteria that might come by drying them normally

Do not use any soap on it just wash just warm water in the shower.
Try stay away from any stress, keep your mind off it, play golf ect. walking and keeping fit can also really heaps repair it.
and if its abit dry try use vitamin e oil, or other natural moisturizers.

Hope this helps, please let me know. I have been in hell literally for the past 8 years if my life.

One important thing i forget to say also is go buy yourself some 100% cotton underwear/briefs or boxers.

this can help heaps!!!!! synthetic materials are terrible for your skin especially if your have some infections down there. 100% cotton will allow your penis to breathe much better and repair.

AND remember to wash your underwear with NO SOAP AT ALL ,just warm water then dry them!!!

and i also believe a salt bath might help.

Ive had this problem for almost a year now. My penis gets itchy, the edge of my penis head gets extremely sensitive then itchy and finally gets red and stings to the slightest touch. I've never had bleeding but I do see the red dots on my penis head. I'm glad (and sorry) to see that I'm not the only one here with this problem. I went to my doctor twice and said it's not an STD but fungus. He prescribed ketacoatzl cream 12%. He said to use it for 6 weeks along with no sex/masturbation. It went away for about 2 months then came back. It's a recurring problem. I clean it daily and try not rely on the medication. I notice that cleaning it daily slows it down but doesn't really get rid of it. In reading all the posts, I honestly think theres no cure and I'm dumbfounded doctors don't seem to know how to treat it. I'm not circumcised and I do notice that since this started, smegma accumulates fast. Maybe smegma has something to do with it, or possibly not being circumcised? Got dang it. It's so damn annoying!!!!!!

Ok, well I was welding a overhead positin and a piece of hot liquid metal fell down and. In cinerated my pants and it landed on my penis. Well the back underneath of the head of the penis got a 3rd degee burn, I didn't go to the doctor I just let it heal on its own, well I. Masterbate a lot and when I thought it was healed mostly I, would beat it well it tore the skin again and also tore a couple more places and nowafter a month all the burnt skin is healed and but for the dry cracked skin it get mostly all the way healed I think and just dry skin over it, I would go to beat it, and back to sqaure one again a few spots tore and cracked again and now hurts I put heavy duty cream moisterizing lotion on it it basically heals but scabs up and I wanna rip the old dried cracked skin off and I hurts, why is is taking forever to heal and why does the area keep getting bigger and bigger in new spots just like your stories? I just wanna stop beating it for a few weeks and use mad lotion and neosporin. And ill get back with you on the dry skin problem. Bc the weld injury is completely healed now.

dont beat it too hard and not often, dont let your foreskin if you have it give it too much friction. u can stil get pleasure from the underneath sensitive bit just rubbing that lightly.

Man, i have been dealing with this for five years now. I went to several doctors and dermatologist none of them have a clue. I was given treatment for bacteria and fungus. The last dermatologist gave me this cream called desonide, it worked good and fast too, but the problem is the moment I masterbat or had oral sex it comes right back.

I'm sick of this. I have only had this for a few months, but it is horrible. Itchy, and red - like a lot of the posts already. Went to the urologist and was prescribed a 2 in 1 cream of Nystatin/Triamcinolone Acetonide. Nystatin is a topical anti-fungal and Triamcinolone Acetonide is a topical steroid. I put this on for one week and everything seemed back to normal. Then after about 2 or so weeks, it came back after one time of masturbation. I am back on the cream for now to get rid of it again.
Anyways, after reading more of the posts, I am starting to wonder if we need to be looking more internal to fight this problem. Why is it recurring for a lot of us? After reading article after article, I'm leaning towards putting the blame at Candida of the body. Topical creams will work, but never get at the root of the problem. I found a doctor specializing in removing yeast infections, I will post again with a followup with what he says.

I have had that same problem for a year and I have tried everything including some creams that my md gave me. Sex is almost out of the question as it irritates the hell out of it. What are we going to do?

I had sex two nights in a row with a women...the following day, I was in some serious discomfort due to the friction on my underwear, and i was quite worried. I had developed tiny grooves, parallel to my shaft in the underpart of it...
Went to doctor, no STDs nor urine infection...gave me Rosa Canina - Pure Rose Hip Oil (called also Rosa Mosqueta), and the darn thing has helped. It's natural, so no prescription needed.
I'm showing a real improvement. I stopped after 10 days and I'm now just applying once in a while, but I'm at a stage i feel confident i'm on the right track...

alright so, last weekend things got weird, there was drinking involved and a really Hood-Rat girl. i'll spare you the details, but it got really rough. this all went down saturday and it is now wednesday, i just noticed redness / irritation / minor swelling down the underside of my shaft.. no real itching, or burning, not too much sensitivity other than during masturbation (how i discovered it)it just looks angry. since i normally masturbate about twice a day, i figure this has got to have something to do with it, i asked the girl if she was clean, and of course "she is" but we all know not to trust a hoe.. from reading your posts it seems like you've all been dealing with this condition for months or longer... having just discovered it, needless to say i am scared ***tless..

so this is just ackward as hell for me because i just finished masterbating about 20 minutes ago than right after i showered and when i was washing my area below i noticed something that wasn't there before i got in the shower..its red dots not open sores or anything i dont wanna jinx it but it was red dots like in a line by the shaft not in front but on the sides and shit. i'm freaked out but i'm not because i've been through similar processes before but i have just about had it. idk if its from masterbating 4x a day and not using lotion or creams and being too rough on it like squeezing but if that was the case than the problem would of happened a long time ago. i always have safe sex and i don't perform oral well i do but dont to myself.

Same condition. Same symptoms. 3 1/2 years now. Dr prescribed Elidel (pimecrolimus cream 1%)made by Novartis--prescription only. THis is commonly used to treat eczema. After a very disciplined two month regimen (twice per day... rub ALL the way in--should get almost "watery" in a way once fully applied) I'm now able to apply just once every two or three days and manage my condition. As long as I maintain this regimen I can now avoid skin splitting or painful tears during sex--and the skin does not flake over and peel off. It is still redish at times... and this is NOT a cure. If I stop applying or run out the symptoms come back within about 10 days. BUT this has restored my sex life and reduced this problem to a chronic--but manageable condition. Guys... go see a DR or dermatologist and ask for a prescription. This has been the only thing that worked for me. I will mention this is a very expensive creme ($100+) for a small tube about the size of a clearasil tube)... even under my pharm plan it cost m $45 each tube. Also, this drug has a black box warning as there is some thought it could increase the risk of certain cancers (basically, Elidel is an immuno-suppressant as Eczema is your immunde system attaching healthy cells. But by localized suppression of the immune system there is some thought that certain cancers tied to viruses might be more likely as the viruses would not be as well suppressed). So keep this in mind and discuss the risks with your Dr. I can tell you though--for me--I have returned to a normal sex life without tearing. And that is everything. Look into it, guys. Seriously.

Just so you all know, Neosporin may actually make it worse. You should use Neosporin for no more than a few days in a row, as it kills off ALL bacteria, even the ones your body needs to naturally heal. A day or two should suffice to make sure it isnt infected. Listen to the guy above: pure, natural aloe vera taken dierctly off a plant is the best thing for every skin ailment. It will never hurt you or irritate you. Just snap a leaf off, put in the fridge and use it. I had 3rd degree burns as a child and I have no scarring whatsoever due to aloe vera. Natural, safe and soothing- would definitely use that on my penis before any man made antibacterials.
