i have a red itchy path about the size of a quarter on the top of my foot. It itchs all day long and when i do scratch it, little white bumps form on top and then go away in a few minutes. Can anyone tell me what it is?? I've had it for about a month and it wont go away..i have been putting cream on it as well.

A week ago I was working in the yard. Suddenly I had the feeling that I was stung by something. But when I looked there was nothing there. It kinda hurt and started to itch. In the night it started to itch really bad - I woke up because I was scratching. Now I have a rash from scratching, and I keep getting more tiny little bumps (not red, but the color of my skin). These bumps are really itchy and I cannot help but scratch. At first it only spread on the left forearm (the area where it all started), but now I also have some itchy bumps - and rashes from scratching - on my left upper arm, my right forarm, and the back of my legs. I noticed that it is especially severe during the night. Please help. It's driving me crazy.

That is ringworm. For sure.

That is ringworm. Lucky for you, it can be treated with simple over the counter creams. My recommendation to you is: "Lamisil" cream. It's a bit more pricey than the generic store brand anti-fungal creams, but, it will work the fastest.

I recently got a small rash looking spot on my stomach that itched really bad at first but then it went away after I used a steroid cream that my doctor prescribed to me. She said it was a minor viral infection on my skin that would go away shortly. Well, needless to say, it came back in the exact same spot PLUS several other locations along my side and a couple on my back and one on the inside of my arm. They all itch like crazy, they all look the same and I'm using the cream on every single spot but they are not going away. PLEASE HELP! My doctor wont help me anymore(what a doctor right) and I'm tired of itching all over plus I don't like what it looks like. I know I can switch doctors but visiting a doctor gets super pricey even WITH insurance I can't afford that simple $20 co pay every time I need to go.

I'M 15 and have the same exact thing when I scratch it leaves raised white lines and white bumps but goes away on it's own my scalp is only itchy when wet however. Did you ever find out what this is?

Me also. I am 40 years old never had any skin or allergy problems 4 months ago I walked into a foreclosure house that had a lot of grown up Kudzu I didn't think I touched anything. When I left the house I notice my arm was itching it was I tiny pin dot didnt pay any attention to it. then it started to spread on my Left arm but very slow It then felt like under the skin was a bump and the skin felt a little harder to me in the surrounding area. it eventually grew to about a nickel size and started raising up to little tiny blisters then to harder pink scare type blisters. I of course scratch until I bleed. I noticed If I got upset it would itch more or Later in the night it would itch more Sunlight causes it to act up also. The weird thing one day it will dry up almost turn pale pink and I think it will heal up then the next day it is Hot Inflamed and in full force. it is now after 4 months going down my arm and up almost 4 inches. always starts under the skin the come to the top. I had not used anything then remedies of my own. I went to the Ocean it kinda cleared up or may I say A bit better. then it started full force, Went to the Tanning bed it would heal a bit then stopped and back again. I have even tried alcohol, Benadryl, even Straight Bleach, Cortisone creams, and they burn and make it worse. Now I noticed small bum on left arm same thing as before. I finally made a appointment to the DR. But I don't want on steroid's or anything like that.I really thing it would cause more harm. also does anyone here have thyroid disease, on any thyroid meds? I read this could be it. again like all of you nothing has changed in my life such as detergents or perfumes. Oh and Now my legs to are starting to itch, Sum it up. Heat anxiety and Sun light make it worse and at night. Symptom's small pin size pump, hardening of the Skin, Eventually raises to a small blister, then becomes a small scare hard and pink to hot and Inflamed small spreader???
