My brother had this same thing a few years ago. He told me to try Claritin. It totally works. The first day was better but after taking it a couple days the itch went away. I'm still getting occasional bumps here and there but its not spreading and doesn't itch. I bought a 10 day supply and I haven't had to stop running.

For the last two years I have had small hard bumps under the skin ... they become very itchy and when scratched they turn to pin head white head type pimples. It started on my right arm and has gradually crept up my right arm to my right shoulder and are starting down my back. Suddenly the same situation has developed on my left arm. What is it? And, how do I get rid of them? Thank you.

its psoriasis. psoriasis is often to occur at the joints of the body. You have all the symptoms of psoriasis, and i'm sure.
Most patients are told that they have Poison ivy when they just find out. Later on, they are told they have psoriasis. This is because in the early stage of psoriasis, it is similar to Poison ivy, thus doctors don't know whethers its what. Most people have this. 2% of people in Canada have psoriasis.
check it up on google and see if it looks like what you have on you skin. As you may not know, im a expert in the studying of psoriasis, maybe because i have much experience of it also. First thing that made me know that you have psoriasis is that: It mostly is known to occur at the JOINTS of your body (ex. elbows, knee joints) But it can also appear anywhere else on the body. psoriasis is a large patch of scaley red skin. I suggest that your condition of psoriasis is going to turn mild and maybe severe. Which means the skin is going to be more dry, and more itchy.
Well, itching is one way to stop it. But facts are proven that people with psoriasis are more affected with itching and pain in the Cold seasons such as winter. This can also occur in the summer too. psoriasis is NOT contagious, so your twin sister will 99.9% not get affected by psoriasis, BUT psoriasis is known to be a genetic disease. I donít know why this happens at night only, but one reason may be that of the temperature. If its cold, most people do feel pain. Its not a reaction.
I have 2 reasons for having psoriasis
1. genetics
2. Stress
I know this might be silly, but having stress can really affect your immune system. When you have psoriasis, your immune system is one of the cause for getting psoriasis. Your immune system is the central system that controls the body from getting sick etc. Trust me, many of my patients get Ok amy. One possible explanation is psoriasis. check it up on google and see if it looks like what you have on you skin. Your body tends to build up and doesnít know where to release all the stress. Therefore, you get psoriasis as a outbreak.
I personally had psoriasis when i was in grade 5. Its hard living with it. I got rid of it after 2 years. And no medicine did not help me. The ULTIMATE CURE was a homopathy medicine which was Sulphur.
Do not actually use sulphur. Talk to your doctor about it.
The creams doctors give you is used to soften up the psoriasis thus not causing the pain which you get.
No it isnt psoriasis. I have them too and so does the rest of the family and we dont see any lice or scabies. HELP

im a little worried. i just graduated boot camp and i was one of the few that stayed healthy. Now im in groton ct and i only have 2 roomates and i have something. i dont know if its from sharing clothes, which i dont do but my t shirts go missing often, or what. i noticed it 3 days ago. id wake up itchy all over in the middle of the night. then in the morning there would only be scratches and scars. no signs of any bumps or anything. however, tonite i woke up and decided to look myself over. my bumps werent red, im black u see..., but they looked like mosquito bites all over my legs back and a few on my face. i continued to scratch then i took a shower. it burned like hell. felt a little better and the bumps did go down but they still itch like crazy. it kind of matches psoriasis but the majority was on my back not at joints like elbows or knees. whats the cure to this new found itis? i need my sleep! oh yea it only happens at night after i fall asleep. I have had a rash for around a year and a half that has, in the last month, spread to different parts of my body. When the rash started it was a circular shape that was empty in the middle - I thought I might have ringworm but was told that by a dermatologist that it was not. The rash then spread to my elbows and manifested as tiny dots, which were raised. It all seemed to go away for 9 months or so. Recently I have developed more of the flat, red spots on my hips; the circular rash on my arm has spread; I have the raised itchy spots on my elbows, knees, and hands.
I've tried a fungal cream my doctor gave me, hydrocortisone cream, and even taken antihistamines. I'm still itchy. Any idea what this could be or how to make the itching go away?
OH my god, that is what I have, I have no idea what is happening to me either, mine started on the back of my ears and then went to my neck from there I got rid of it for like 4 months then it showed up on my right shin and then on my left and now its on my right elbow, as those little bumps that itch real bad but havent done anything yet. mine also hurts when in hot water or weather, I was told I have egzama but nothing I use makes it go away and I never had this problem till about 2 years ago.

hey if you think it is ringworm then i have a home remedy that really works seeing that you spent alot of money on some cream if you take clear fingernail polish and put it on the ringworm it will kill it and it will be gone in a few days hope this helps

Alex wrote:
Shoknows i have done a bit of research i think what i have could be ringworm (i suggest looking into it) and i have to book an appointment with a dermatologist , were I will talk about it there and hope that they can give me something which can help, unlike everything else ive tryed. A friend of mine has recommended a cream named "Rescue cream" i have bought some from a local holland and barrett its a bit pricey for such a small tube, yet it has decreased the size of the "ringworm." And with this being an herbal remedy you can keep applying and not worry about this scarring. I hope ive helped,

but the weird thing is !! I got it now !! nd its in winter ..
hmm ??
You have scabies. It's not dangerous, but it won't go away unless treated with permitherin cream 5 percent. One application from head to toe will kill the mite, and all rashes, bumps, and itching should be gone in a few weeks.
