I have had a bump above my left brow as a result of being struck by a baseball when I was 12. I had surgery to have it removed when I was 16, however it was unsuccessfull as the bump was not removed. I'm now 42. I have been to at least 5 plastic surgeons over the years to see if we could try again. None of them will perform the surgery though. They say I have nasal cavities in that area, and they are worried about compromizing the thin layer of bone. I am very self concious about it, you might even say it's taking its tole of my quality of life. Like alot of men my age, I have a reseeding hair line which makes it even more pronounced. If there is anyone who can recommend a good plastic surgean, I would be very greatfull. I would travel out of town if need be.

haha wow. Im from Africa, and things were very ruff. i headbutted things accidentally then got a bump on my forehead, i didnt see the doc but my parents heated a rock, wrapped it around cloth, and did some gentle pressing on my forehead, it DISAPPEARED! but then... i headbutted with the same side again and so it came back :(. i was like 12, then i came to America, when i was about 16, it disappeared but not for long because i played lots high school sports and it came back. Im 21 now and its still here but its disappearing slowly. Just try not to headbutt anything cuz its gonna wake it up. I see mine but people seem to not.

Oh yea, when my parents did the "hot cloth rock", it was the first time i got it, and it was hurting, so to not let the tissue swell up, they rub it with the hot cloth which caused it to spread rapidly back into place. When it happened to me again on the same place, i did not tell my parents but it looked big for about weeks and my brothers were laughing at me. It disappears slowly, just try not to hit anything.

I have just noticed a bump on my forehead above my left eyebrow. I am not sure what it is but in the morning today my head did start to hurt only when I got up suddenly though. I really do want to know exactly what it is becuase it suddenly appeared. I am quite worried also.

i have this hard bump on the right side of my forehead which was once a pimple, i was in the sun working for a long period of time and before i knew it i had this massive bump... i tried to remove all the liquid inside of it but only very little came out, i kept repeating it hoping i would get everything out, the bump would look a bit smaller but then by the next day it would go back to the same size, i finally stopped because it was scarring and so it's healed now but with all that gunk still under the skin and now i walk around with one horn

hi guys, when i was in the third grade, i was accidently pushed into a door lock at school. it left a scar which i have never been bothered with. it has always been tender if hit. about 5 years ago i noticed a bump under the scar. others noticed also. i went to a dermatoligst, he said a plastic surgeon would have to do surgery because of facial nerves. now i'm 71 yrs. old and it seems to continue to grow (its about the size of a marble) i accidently bumped it the other day and it was more painful than usual. it is hard and doesnt move.it seems to be affecting my brow line too.(left side) like it is headed to my nose. im really worried. do you think it could be scar tissue.
thanks

i know how to reduce the size!!! well for people like me, ok so what you have is a calcium build up, it can result from any of the following: a high calcium diet, working out but not drinking enough water or not going to the sauna(idk if thats how u spell it), or it just built up. So what you do is drink at least 4 bottles of water a day, not the mini kind. And almost every day the bumps will slightly decrease. Now if its scar tissue(1 of my 3 is), it will somewhat work, but it will need to heal on its own.(yes scar tissue heals)MY two bumps are now barely noticeable, and the scar tissue has gone down too

I went to a plastic surgeon for a calcuim deposit on my skull (forehead area) and also cysts in scalp a few years ago. They cut skin open above the calcium deposit and she literally had to file it down with a file they use for nose jobs. Stitched up really nice and scar is hardly noticeable. Cysts were easier and they didn't even have to shave any of my hair. My advice is to find a good plastic surgeon in your area to do it.
