Hi!

For the last few years I have been getting these little bumps that sometimes turn into blisters (with a clear fluid). They only turn red if I pop the blister (which seems to stop the itch sooner than if I ignore it--popping it seems to "kill" the bump"). I will feel really itchy and will look down onto my forearm and see little blisters (usually from 2-4 in a group). If I put steriod cream on RIGHT AWAY I won't have an ongoing problem. Sometimes, if I treat it once, it will re-fill with fluid and itch again maybe a week or more later!!

I developed a large group of them on both arms in December which hit its peak in early Jan. Went to a Dermatologist, had patch testing found I had an allergy to Kathon (isothialazone mix) which I found in my conditioner and in the shampoo I had been using at my mom's house during the time I was getting lots of these bumps.

Then a few weeks ago, I went to another DR. b/c I moved and she doesn't think the allergy is what caused it, b/c #1 it was a wash-out product and #2 it would have been somewhere other than my forearms.

I have NEVER had this anywhere other than the TOPS of my forearms--never upper arms, never underside of forearms or anywhere else on body. I have ruled out food. I was tested for 35 of the most common allergies. Also, I have only gotten two very small new blisters since January.

I go back to the dr. on Friday, but she isn't sure. I have symptoms of a few things, though none typical of anything. Help!!!

It is almost gone now ---have taken creams since late Jan.

btw, these blisters are tiny, usually no bigger than a pencil tip.

I take that back.. I did have little itchy bumps above my eyebrows on both sides, but after treating with steroid cream it went away, recurred two weeks later and after treating it again ONE TIME it hasn't returned since Jan. At the time I figured it was some conditioner that settled on my eyebrows.

I know exactly what your talking about. But I
don't have an answer either. Mine started on my
leg from hip to knee. Of course I scratched the hell out of them because there was so many, they ended up whelting like a hive. I don't think they're hives because my husband and daugher have them too but not as bad as me. They started about
a month ago, then all of a sudden BAM! I've searched the web over and over to find some sort
of answer. I went to my physician and she said
she didn't have a clue, ruling out fleas, bedbugs
scabies and so forth. I'm scheduling an appt. with a dermatologist and all three of us are going to go. I pray they can diagnose this misery.

I have them too. They drive me crazy. Little bumps turn in to tiny looking blister like bumps that are iychy. Then they seem to turn red when they are going away. Saw the Dr. about it, more than one Dr., they say its an allergic reaction and/or they don't really know.sometimes they form between my fingers. It look like poison Ivy but it isn't. They form in clusters and it is nasty. They always go away.

I too have this very odd red rash on my left hand.It is slightly itchy and has a raised apperance and has been there some 6 weeks. My GP had thought it to be associated with meds given from suffering a good bout of phnumonia recently. He felt the steroids may have caused this.
I have, to date, tried numerous creams to rid this and none working at all!(including quarterzone)I have seen the GP only a few days ago and the next step is a biopsy to determine what this is,as it has spread a little further and now it's even between my fingers.
I hope there is some answer to this mystery and soon..ggrrrr...itchy and annoying.

i have spent 4 days with these as well...mine start out like a hive that is super itchy.the hive doesnt go away it,by the next day or 2, has turned into a small water blister(still itchy)today(day 4)the first one i found(on the underside of forearm) was hard and when i sctratched it came off just leaving a little scab the size of the head of a straight pin. i would say right now i have about 30 ..at different stages all over my body concentrating more on my torso and arms with a few on my legs the dr says its pox but i cant find anything as general as pox on the web.he says it should go away within the next 2 weeks..i hope so ..this itching is crazy!

HOLY COW!! I thought my boyfriend, sister, and I were the only ones with these strange itchy bumps....I can't seem to figure out what they are or what causes them. It's a horrible miserable itch...and nothing seems to get rid of them. They seem to avoid our faces...but appear almost everywhere else on our bodies...I'm going to ask yet another doctor what they are, and if I find out, I'll post back on here hopefully with a cure.

I have a small patch on my lower left arm with the same small itchy bumps or blisters. I've been putting hydrocortisone on it, but it doesn't seem to help. Does everyone seem to think these are allergic reactions to chemicals? I poked my arm when planting some spiky plants a few weeks ago, but I'm not sure if that's related.

I get these two, I have one on my middle finger and it just appeared after being itchy yesterday now it is blister. No reason at all. I get them on my feet too and the palm of my hand. If you break the blister, it seems to spread! Do not do that. If it breaks on it's own, it just goes away. Do not know what it is, it started about 5 years ago.

mystery spots on 2yr old

My 2 yr old woke up with these mostly in clusters on one leg/foot, look like bites at first, turn to blister and them scab. No one else had them, not even his brother who slept with him, searched high and low for culprit, next morn his legs were covered, most scabbed over and some new blistery ones covering both legs now to many to count! Very few on back and arm, none on head, tummy or bottom. I see a nurse who said they were not bites, possibly hives, then doctor said it was virus, wasn't really sure what though, he asked if he had chicken pox and said he presumes they were not school sores- but if persist past few days said to come back as school sores need antibiotics to cure them- these spread easy when scratch and touch else were. Having had an older boy with these two virus before I feel unsure about it, as they don't seam to be either and he is perfectly well otherwise and I am sure he had the same thing 6 months ago too, I was told it all was an symptoms of the cold/virus thing he had at time. Hope that helps- sorry I'm not really sure, neither has anyone who have seen them. I hope to hear back what happen to others, If I no more will post.
