Hello,

Ever since I was 9 or 10 I would get these little tiny red bumps on my hands and feet, first it would only be like 1 or 2 bumps, then they would start to itch and then they would spread. I am now 19 and I still have them to this day, right now even.

Its gotten worse over the years, and I ONLY get them in the summer and they go away in the fall. Which is really bizarre. I really need to know what its called, and get a cure for it I'm so sick of these bumps! Its made me to where I've almost put my hands and feet into boiling hot water.

I just need to find out what it is exactly what it is, and find a way to get rid of them FOR GOOD.

Please email me back at bslauf3@yahoo.com
Thanks!

I have only one on my index finger on the side. That part of my hand in the past the skin had become very tough like leather and cracked...it is currently in good condition.

I recently felt some annoying sensitive spot on the side of my finger like the tapioca type bumps described.

The research I did said that Dyshidrotic Dermatitis is treated with many things. The main focus on our home front is to keep your skin from getting dried out. Like those hand sanitizers will just make the skin worse.

I have been putting skim cream for cracked hands that is sold at hardware stores like lowes home depot on that finger after baths. And its solved the cracking problems.

The bumps are rare but still occur and i lance them myself and drain that sticky fluid out. Immediately I apply anti-biotic like Neosporin to it. Once every blue moon i have to lance that sucker..and i feel so good afterwards.

Still take a google gander into : Dyshidrotic Dermatitis to learn more.

I've actually read on another site with the bumps, and this women recommended using Pepsodent Toothpaste to relieve the itching and the spreading of the bumps. Its actually worked, the bumps are going away. So, I will also recommend it for everyone on here who get the bumps as well. Let the toothpaste dry onto your hands and or feet, and then wash it off. It relieves most of the itching. I used it a couple times a day for about maybe a week, and it helped alot. Hope it works for you!

I get these bumps after drinking alot of alcohol. I think that there might different things that cause these bumps in my hands and toes. It is painful when I walk or write (if they are in my fingertips). I hope is not something related to diabetes. Let me see what I could find in the net about it.

Hi! I have some great news... I've been suffering from the same symptoms and have been reading this post for some time... yesterday was probably the worst it has ever been and as normal I was looking around for answers when I just happened to read that an additional use for hydroxyzine HCL(typically prescribed for nausea, especially after surgery)is to relieve prolific allergic reactions AND to reduce stress and anxiety (especially panic attacks). I have 50mg tabs my dr. prescribed for nausea, so I said what the hell and ate 150mg at about 8pm last evening and then another 150mg at 12am. I woke up this morning and I almost fainted when I realized my "rash" was SO MUCH BETTER!!! The broken out areas are drying up nicely and the bumpy pre-break out areas are smoothing out (and also my skin is dry over these areas)!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! If your dr. will prescribe hydroxyz-HCL than please try it... it certainly won't hurt! But be careful because it does cause drowsiness (I probably have a high tolerance because I take it about once a month for nausea.) IF YOU HAVE ANY PLEASE JUST ASK! GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS!

I also have to deal with the same issue. At first I was scared that it was scabies. The one doctor told me it is caused of streesed. He perscribed Prozac. I took Prozac for a couple of months and thay were gone. That was in 2001. Now im dealing with it again. I went to another doctor and he told me that I washed my hands too much. That the oil was gone. And told me I had to use lotion and ware gloves. It didnt work. I have tried the lotion, glove, and the sock thing. Antifungle creame, and baby lotion. I know that I have alot of stress in life. And everyone has a bit, But,I think I stressed on the bumps more then my stress. If anyone else can find something that works,,,,, please let us in on the secrets. my next thing to try is the 1/2 n 1/2. God I hope this vinegar & water work. And thanks for everyone comments, I thought I was the only one.

You need to know a couple of things. If this were a fungal infection and you put cortisone cream on it, it would grow uncontrollably. However, if you put cortisone on eczema, it would help. Also, fungal infections rarely go away on their own without requiring treatment of some kind. I think if you do more research you'll find that you have what everyone else here is talking about.

I have those too! Often they come and go and look like very small itchy blisters. I get them between my toes and sometimes fingers. I typed in my symptoms on google and found a numerous amount of reaserchable information that pretty much confirmed it is a fungal infection. I didnt believe it at first, because im a pretty hygenic person, but then after I thought about it for awhile realized I only get them whenever I do activities such as run around barefoot (which i love to do cause shoes are overated lol) and visit my local lake...they only really occur on myself during summer and spring seasons...when im running around more outside and doing more activities. Ive never really had to do anything with them except for make sure that I do not itch them (even though they are exceptionally an inconvinience) and they usually go away. If i have ever itched them they do not spread they however do get worse and more painful at the host site. So whatever you do DO NOT ITCH! I havent gotten them on my fingers in quite sometimes...but when I did i usually had a job in the fast food or retail industry where you deal with lots of money, hands, merchandise exchanges and bacteria. I now only get them on my toes...when im being a shoeless rebel. If they get bad use lamisil and hydrocorzine creams. That will cure them up and keep them from being itchy. That should help cure it up.

I had this diagnosed as planta palmer pustular psoriasis. they gave the usual creams and I expermineted with others. the thing which i find works best is aloe vera gel which soothes it and helps clear it quicker than anything else. it is definitely stress related for me, and pops up a few days after any major shock or hard time.

Ive been getting the same bumps. Im 27 and recently had mono and was really sick. I figured they were just a symptom of me having an enlarged liver and gallbladder from the mono. They went away and I never thought I would never get them again. Here it is 4 months later and im getting those little blisters between my fingers with a little pin prick dot in the middle. they are driving me nuts. Im one that can deal with pain better then an annoying itch. so stupid me, i wripped them off to get rid of them. BIGGGGGGGG mistake. It just made them worse. Im not sure if the fluid inside of them can spread but im all screwed up now. ankles, legs, waist, stomach. Im not sure if thats what caused this but i can honestly tell you that i wont be tearing them open anymore to help them dry out. Someone told me to use oatmeal like with poison ivy. Stupid me, these things dont ooze and i didnt know what i was doing. But i cooked up a huge pot of oatmeal, nice and hot. Put it on my bumps on my stomach. I never itched so bad in all my life after that. Word to the wise, dont use oatmeal. And if you do use it for poison ivy, DONT COOK IT!!!!!! LOL

I got these bumps 2 days ago and there driving me crazy. I have been very stressed out here lately and my nurves have been shot, my mother got the same kind of rash that I have on my hands but they were on her arms while she was stressed out as well. I guess you can use peroxide and it should help get rid of them. Hopefully it works.
