hello all, i have over the past year developed some strange symptoms, i am thinking if i should get a referal to a cardiologist or not, one one occasion i was leaving a shopping center and suddenly my whole chest felt empty and devoid of organs like a giant chasm,it lasted approx a minute and then went away, i also felt slightly dizzy, the second experience, i awoke one night and could feel my heart it seemed to be surrounded by hundreds of tendons or muscle like things, it lasted a few seconds and then dissapeared, a bit spooky, the third happened as i was walking into a shopping mall, i felt chest pain which might have been gastro as i suffer gastric reflux, however i almost lost consciousness and felt extremely tired and developed slightly slurred speech. i now occasionally suffer from developing a cold upper body arms and hands it is also slightly tingly, i have had a treadmill test and it was fine, and i have been tested for heart disease and it is also fine, i take crestor for high cholesterol and my cholesterol levels for the past year have been fine, i am also a smoker, although i am trying to give it up, one doctor who was using a scope to check my gastric problem said it sounds like i have anxiety attacks,, but im not sure, should i see a doc and get a referral to a cardiologist ? or does this sound like anxiety problems.?
my father had a tripple bypass aged 50ish and i am 43 and slightly overweight, any answers greatly appreciated, cheers steve
