hello there,i am a 1st year medical student, recently we had a medical checkup and my chest xray showed a globular heart, and in the end, i was diagnosed with 2 fenestrations on my atrial septum, both sized about 2mm,i was adviced to do a tee. my problem is,ever since i came to know about my condition,i ve been depressed, i mean, do i need any sort of device closure?if so,is it safe?if not,how long will i live without any symptoms manifesting?my echo findings are concluded as follows.."mild RAVO,RVVO,no RWMA,good LV and RV sytsolic functions.valves are normal, suspicion of fenestrated asd,no pericardial effusion, clots, vegetations or pulmonary arterial hypertension.."i really need your help..thank you..
