Scratching ears is gross, but there are extenuating circumstances. I'm more baffled by someone actually working in an environment and would need advice on how to scratch. My job, you do whatever you need to in meetings to be comfy and others deal with it. lol

Bothered for over a year because the roommate left the water running for 30 seconds?! Get a life! I can't imagine all the wasteful behaviors the roommate would end up starting just to irritate this OCD-Hippie.
Reminds me of some people I went to college with who would be irritated when I used two sheets of paper instead of printing back to back.

Vegans are far far worse in their behavior than environmentalists. They need a 6 month course from Miss Manners!

I'm more concerned about the many thousands of people who think they can't live without a plastic bottle of water or something else long enough to go anywhere without one. When those people see no need to recycle that bottle, I also get pretty annoyed. I live in a fairly small town and I stop as often as I can to retrieve bottles from the sides of the road. What an eyesore. I wish they fined people for putting recycle items in the trash. I think eventually our planet will be mandatory on the recycling program because our landfills don't need anymore glass or plastic containers that will never break down in 1000 years.

Iching is no fun and this man's pain is being under rated. My grandfather recieved an injery in the Corean war of a. Bulet in his brain. The bulet put presure in such a way as to cause uncontroleable iching all over his body. After he got home from the war he commuted suiside to escape it. This was ofically ruled a death due to a war injury. This happened long before i was born but i thhought of him when i has shingles, which i had three times, and i think i can understand why he might have felt like he coild not live that way. Inching your ear in a meeting is very unprofeshonal though. It might be better not to wear the hearing aid to the meeting or it could hinder your chances at a promotion or raise. See a doctor

Miss Manner's advice to the environmentalist was really bad. I stopped reading Miss Manners after how rude she was. I don't see anything wrong in trying to help people see how non-green some actions can be.

Shame on you, Miss Manners. I hope you're caught in the North Pole stranded on an ice floe just like the polar bears because you don't see anything wrong with wasteful behavior.
