THE ONLY THAT WILL HAPPEN NOW IS THAT PEOPLE WILL GO FOR TREATMENT IN THE HOSPITAL AND OVERCROWD THEM AND NOT BE ABLE TO PAID SO TAKE AWAY FROM ONE END AND FIND ANOTHER PROBLEM, MEDICAL NEEDS IS THE NUMBER ONE PROBLEM YOU HAVE WHEN ONE CANNOT AFFORD MEDICAL CARE.

The money should only be used for medications. Complementary care should be paid by the inflicted or infected ones with HIV. Transportation to and from any County services office should be paid by the inflicted or infected individuals. People know how to abuse their own programs. People do work with the virus.

It is hard to understand government's tactics, but they are all trying to step on each other's toes. So until all the cows have come home and the fat lady sings I would not even give them any credit.

How did they fix the insurance problem??? Lets see they gave home owners the least amount of credit and then hicked up your auto insurance policy. For those who have not renewed just wait there is an added $100 a month to create a hurricane fund. So they gave you a little, then took it back in a different way.

When have you ever heard that governments give's something for nothing. Be for real!!! It's all a way to keep everyone happy and let the majority of the population think that they are looking out for your best interest.

I agree, they do not offer that kind of help for breast cancer so why is aids so much more "special"

The federal government has no business paying for HIV\AIDS treatments in the first place. Cancer patients don't receive federal money to defray expensive chemotherapy\radiation treatment costs. Once we start paying for one disease we end up paying for ALL of them. There is no end to how tax payer money is misallocated and wasted which is why so many people are against higher taxes. It's like letting your poor neighbor borrow $100 to pay some bills only to find out he goes out and orders a steak dinner with it.

You are correct.
And after the dinner, he asks for more money to buy dessert and to pay his cable bill.

I thought the democrats were going to lower gas prices, bring more aid to the sick, tell the terrorists to stop being angry, what happened?

Get rid of all incumbents. All incumbents right or left.

I make less than 30,000 a year, a nobody is paying for my massage therapy or acupuncture. I'm sorry that you may be inflicted with this horrible disease, but the government can't take care of everyone forever. Cuba has a GREAT health care system that's free, why don't you try moving there? And by the way, I pay over $250 a month for my health care. So you can see why I have not much sympathy.

Too bad they couldn't afford $5.00 for A PACK OF CONDOMS. If they had left their PANTS ON they wouldn't be worried now about who's going to take care of them. I feel bad for anyone who has HIV/AIDS but IT'S NOT MY PROBLEM. Why should I pay? I KEEP MY PANTS ON, WHY DIDN'T THEY?

Also, my two brothers have had Diabetes since birth. The government hasn't given them ONE dime of help and somehow they never ended up in the Emergency Room (as the previous post mentions). Just do what the illegals do; show up at the Emergency Room, speak no English and have the US Taxpayers foot the bill anyway! What is happening to society? When did it become the Government's job to take care of you?

This is not Socialism, folks. George Washington is turning over in his grave

Why is my tax money being used for a day spa for AIDS patients. That is what private insurance is for...I'm tired of hearing we will lose police and fire workers. We have plenty of money for them once we stop handing out money for this nonsense.

pray you are never inflicked with a deadly issue in health because a day at the so called spa may make your day a little brighter especially if you are also a diabetic.

Most of the time I'm a prick but this issue is different, the fear of having aids must be hard to take and these people should get all the care in the world. How did they get hiv/aids? It dosent matter because it could be you.Yep,step on a needle at the beach, screw around,it could happen.Iraq and all the money lost or stolen by our government needs to be accounted for so the people of this great nation can care for our own.
