There is as much evidence for the effectiveness of acupuncture as there is against it. Although, as the article states, that within the last 30 years, there has been a rise in public acceptance for the thousand year old practice. Although I am personally studying oriental medicine and acupuncture, I still believe that to fully rely on this ancient practice as the cure all is, obviously, irresponsible. There needs to be an emergence of western and eastern medicine, but with the way America paints the Chinese in today's media, it may not take place anytime soon (hopefully not).
