I think the idea of this whole aromatherapy is very simple, it's pleasant smell. Isn't it relaxing to be in an environment with a good aroma.
I used a aromatherapy candle once in a while to relieve my stress. And it's amazing that it really helped a lot.

But I'm looking forward to try more aromatherapy services just near in my area. Like in here http://www.wellnesscircle.com/services/san-jo...

Aromaththerapy sounds akin to the medieval idea that disease was spread by "bad air" (smells) which is of course utter nonsense.

Aromatherapy involves the use of essential oils extracted from roots, leaves, flowers and fruits for therapeutic purposes. This approach has been used by many people who claim that the process addresses everything from anxiety to depression.

Yes, that's what they claim. However, the best you can say about it is this: Some things smell nice and if you associate those smells with a good feeling, then it will trigger that feeling.

It's basically like listening to music for your nose.

No one would claim that music can cure cancer. No one should claim that aromas can cure cancer.

However, both music and aromas can make you relax or wake you up.

Actually there are nutters who believe in "healing tones" and claim they cure every disease imaginable.

Its always the same for these nutters, I imagine they use the following form letter:

"{insert name of bogus theraphy here} is a safe, all natural theraphy that can cure {insert multiple illnesses ranging from common cold to genetic illnesses here} without side effects.

Our treatment acts on the root cause of disease, not the symptoms, by stimulating and boosting the bodies own immune system to fight disease using {insert sciency sounding phrase here making sure to include the terms quantum, energy and frequency}."
