For the latest research on acupuncture as a treatment for insomnia, see my blog post of 2/25/13. Overall, studies of acupuncture for insomnia have produced mixed results.

But two new studies, one from Brazil and the other from Taiwan, showed that acupuncture improved subjects' sleep quality. The Brazilian subjects reported feeling better during the daytime as well.
