This is crazy why would Ronnie keep putting his family through all this? Poor wife.... I hope he gets the books thrown at him! I lived Ronnie to pieces but I also loved his family they need a break from all this. Maybe a small sentence will do him some good and his family. Poor mrs. Lane..... What a damn shame she deserves so much better and so does his kids! Ronnie I sure do hope you are getting your act together. I'm praying for you but most of all your family. They don't deserve this coming from their father and your grandchild.... Just sad.... These people rely on you love and trusted you, how could you have been so dumb to do this to them? Haven't they been through enough with you?

It is sad...... Sad for all involved and sad for us as citizens ....... I'm not throwing any stones ..... God has done wonders with me ....... I can't believe how far he's taken me in life and why ?....... But I'm grateful and so very thankful ....... I do wish the best for Mr Lane , and more importantly I wish for peace and comfort for his family ...... I just keep in mind that God used Moses to free my people even after he was banished for 40 years for murder........like they say though ..... It's God's plan ...... Not ours :)

honestly people, this is what I see. He sold to an undercover cop. He didn't just give an old prescription to a friend that had a toothe ache. Yes both are against the law, but he wasn't being helpful to a friend. He was selling for either profit, or in order to get his "girlfriend",(probab ly the same girl that got him in trouble the first time) a fix. What troubles me is that we have elected this man, with such poor judgement, as a public official. It time to take a look at our public officials and clean up this county. Remember that, at the next election and let's find some local decent folks to run against that bunch!!!

I agree with Rosie. When I read the latest court appearance details, what there was, I was stunned. Not for his charge but how he handled this appearance. I have been critical of him for this but also for other mischief over the years. Some people have an entirely different perception of him than the rest of us. You need two different personalities to be so different. He lead two lives and politicians, many of the professional grade, have the ability to be all things to all people. But selfish in their behavior…I agree not all are like this, but so many are. We see it daily.

To fall so far and nothing left to “do what is right” requires professional help. If he “comes back”(or found innocent), it will be a major accomplishment for him and worth seeing.

I like the way you people feel sorry for him, and the family and so on. Who caes about his friends and family anyway. He didn't. All he cared about was his girl friend and acting like he was so great and knows it all about eveything.Telling everybody about his bad temper. He's a drug dealer and got his butt caught. Lock his ass up and keep his ass locked up. People like him should NOT be walking the streets and selling drugs I have no use for him and never did. Any dumn ass that would vote for people like him should be checked out for mental retardation. This just goes to show you how stupid the people on the north end really are to have voted for him in the first place. He is the same Ronnie Lane he has always been. A lying POS.

One more thing, wasn't Ronnie Lane a big man in a church in his end of the county. I wonder what the church thinks about him now. To think they couldn't tell what he was. I know, they all feel sorry for him and the family I'm not throwing stones, I'm just speaking the truth about one of Garrard county's finest. After all he was a magistrate. I wonder if any other Magistrate is conducting some under the table deals. I moved here 15 years ago and the courthouse is always doing something wrong. John Wilson love to raise tax on the people and then tell everyone how he is saving the county money. I would move but it takes money and we in this county have very little of that.

He sat in church like everyone else does every Sunday for awhile and if u were there there u would know that. The only "Big Man" in the church is God. Most of the members aren't casting judgement cause we are too busy cleaning out our own closets. Just cause we attend church and are Christians by the grace of God don't make us perfect it just makes us forgiven. Whatever happens is up to law of the courts and in final judgment. So I guess public opinion is just that. It isn't gonna condemn him to jail or hell.

I love our religion. Once you are saved, you really are able to "deal drugs" or do anything else. Cause you really are "saved". Hopefully we get some real justice before he goes on to get the justice in his after life. I know, send all your replies........

So many have no idea how this man should get justice and this would only cover a small portion of his "life's work". We got him out once and they figured how to get him back. This wasn't a sudden thing that occurred. YES, his congregation knows him more than most know. But he was in the fold. So look the other way

Nope...just cause you attend church ever Sunday don't make you saved and when people do stuff they shouldn't and never feel remorse and accept responsibility and say the are "saved", I'd have to question if they ever really were in the 1st place. Just my opinion. What he did was against the law 100%. For sure...now it's up to justice system to hand out the punishment not anyone in the church (is what I am saying)

The people in his church are us, the voters, the community, the residents of this county and a few others. I know people knew and talked about him. How he was doing his family (wife) but his so-called power made a difference. That should be something we are ashamed of and should pray about. Look in the mirror and face ourselves. It is a pity how we hide our own guilt.

You can get saved without going to church. All you have to do is believe in God and believe he is your saviour. If Lane was saved he wouldn't have got a young girl friend ( one of many ) or sold drugs. When you get saved you start a new life of love and don't think of doing all the bad things. We all have guilt but we don't sale drugs. God know what he is doing and he let Lane get caught too.

I wish you would go back to school. Sell drugs, sale of drugs, or hey, Dillard's has a great sale! Jesus died for our sin no one is perfect and we live in a world of temptation. You are not Ronnie's judge. He has only one to answer to. All he has to do is ask his savior for forgiveness, why don't you back stabbing people go worry about your glass houses.

If you want to save Lane, have at it. You can't even save your self Labinito. And one more thing Limb-bo. If I ever see Lane I'll tell him to his face what a POS he is.

First that's not what he said. He can be saved by God by asking for forgiveness...absolutely. The law of the land will still try and prosecute him and he has to live with the punishment given by the courts(even w/ the Lords forgiveness). So be it. I'm sure he has asked for forgiveness now he must face the consequences of his wrong doing here in this life...
