Let's stop calling it a "race". That term denotes an event based on FINISHING it as QUICKLY as possible. Thus far, our medical community has done neither. How long have they been at it? Since 1950. That's 64 YEARS. Patients can't wait YEARS. How many "experiments" and how much more "research" need be done? Why are we complacent and accepting of slow progress with minimal results?
