How about an actual update, a factual incite into the progress being made in fighting breast cancer. What insitution(s) are receiving the money and doing the hard science of research.
My mother died of what began as breast cancer 8 years ago.
The drugs and procedures are more modern I'm sure but what about the progress toward prevention?

How can you call people getting together to show SUPPORT, to HONOR, and to CELEBRATE people battling this type of cancer or those people who have lost the fight to this cancer a stupid waste of energy? These people did various things in their community to raise money for breast cancer research and this was a day to allow them all to come together to show that there are people out there that care and support the fighters and survivors of this cancer.

This was a day to honor the survivors that are able to run or walk in the race. There was a woman who was a 50 year survivor walking the Race for the Cure as well as a 2 month survivor walking as well. This was a day to honor them and their fight!

It's a shame that you are so ignorant to the human spirit of caring for one another. It just wasn't a day of wearing pink wigs, team shirts, and so on but a day to show the community that people care about this cancer and want to find a cure.

Keep running, big pharma has no intention to cure anything. There is no money in a cure. Cancer is a huge money maker for conventional medicine. Pull away from conventional medicine and research what cancer really is and how to prevent and treat it without the medical fraud association.

The masses are brainwashed. This fraud has been going on for a long time, it is sad to see that people don't see that conventional medicine is about maintaining disease for profit.

Even with the negative things other people have said, I still believe the Race for a Cure is a great way to raise money for breast cancer. It amazes me that more and more people continue to support breast cancer research every year and are able to raise millions of dollars.
