Looks good, Susan- but since every non-profit organization needs an Executive Director, I hereby nominate you to be our Executive Director, with our organization HQ in Tucson, Arizona. I suggest you go ahead and put "Executive Director" after your name on the petition. Don't be shy- you earned it.
BUT... if anyone wishes to run against Susan Combs (who started this petition and has done 99% of the work) for the position of Executive Director, let them REPLY NOW or forever hold their piece. Otherwise, we will assume that no further replies mean that Susan Combs has been elected Executive Director of the National Organization of Asthma and COPD Patients by unanimous consent. So it is written, so it shall be done. Amen. HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL DIE TO HELP PROTECT THE OZONE? PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION AND FORWARD THIS PETITION (simple instructions at the petition homepage) TO ANYONE WHO IS HAVING HEALTH PROBLEMS WITH THE NEW HFA ALBUTEROL INHALER! DOCTORS, NURSES, PHARMACISTS WHO HAVE HEARD SIGNIFICANT COMPLAINTS FROM PATIENTS ARE ALSO ENCOURAGED TO SIGN AND INCLUDE THEIR COMMENTS! THIS IS THE LINK: http://tinyurl.com/3bul5u |

I feel very fortunate to have found such a kind soul. Thank You very much Arthur for all of your help and support. I am honored to speak out,or scream if I have enough air in my lungs, to help all of us through this mess. I only hope that you know how much I appreciate everything. Everyone on this forum should know that you have been my FORCE. I would be so lost. Everyone that has helped with the petition will always be in my heart. Crusader...Breathe Easy...Thank You. You have helped so much too. I have posted contacts for everyone to find by state. They are listed as new topics...one is on the Asthma forum . Maybe if people know who to contact they will. Stay Well.

You're very welcome, Susan. We should be thanking you. But Susan, exactly how do you find these contacts by state?

I just added a link to the direct page. I'm not very good with this linking stuff. I posted links on each post. Maybe you know how to make it easier???? I thought about that after I posted all the names. I thought maybe people could just type in the name and get info BUT, it should be easier. HELP!!!

Susan, I've been waiting for your email for TWO DAYS- still haven't gotten it.
If you go to my website you will find my 800# on the home page- you can call me there- or not ( LifeInsurance911.com ). Had I known that communicating with you would be like pulling teeth, I would NEVER have suggested that you become Executive Director- which requires more than anything else the ability to COMMUNICATE with people. My mistake. I'm not used to this, and I really have no patience for it. Since this will probably be our last communication, I will make one final suggestion to you: Your petition targets FDA and GlaxoSmithKline. I strongly suggest you REPLACE GlaxoSmithKline with IVAX PROAIR. GSK is irrelevant. IVAX PROAIR is DEADLY. Your argument will be much more powerful if you make this change- and if you accomplish nothing else other than BANNING IVAX PROAIR- you will have helped a LOT of people. Not a perfect solution, but much better than having people suffocate on IVAX, in my opinion. I hope your asthma improves, Susan. Best Wishes, Art |

Arthur...PLEASE don't leave me here. I had no idea that I was supposed to e-mail you. I really wonder who you are? I am not the kind of person that won't step up to the plate. I thought the only way to contact you was on here. Please help us the rest of the way. I am very sorry. You can't leave me here. Jack50 has been posting some messages to me that make me feel like I'm banging my head againt the wall. I'll try to add a link in the next post. Please Arthur...I just didn't know how to e-mail you. The government and refineries have polluted air, water, and earth, causing a lot of our breathing problems. Nuclear testing affects are still present. Has the legislation been working on that clean up? No. They change our meds, charge us more, but they don't have to worry they have the best insurance in the world. Is CFC as dangerous as lead? I think someone has their priorities mixed up. I hope we can do something about it.

I don't want you to be angry with me. Do you see in any of the posts, your e-mail, or that I was to contact you? No! If I knew how, I would have. We have so much left to do. Please tell me that you won't leave this like it is. I am very, very sorry. PLEASE...who are you? or how do I contact you? You have helped me so much and I think together WE can do this. By myself ,I will help no one...the whole thing is to help people. I'll be waiting to hear back???? Susan

I haven't gone through all of the posts here; however, my Mother is having the same issue with Warrick Albuterol and having to switch to another.
I contacted CVS and they have enough of a supply to carry their customers through for awhile. You do need a prescription and have to ask for it by name. Hopefully this helps. |

I have a son that just turned 8 and we have been on albuterol forever. You can still get the albuterol for the nebulizer and we have to use it more now than before. This pro-air crap is aweful. The other inhaler that they are pushing is xopenex. That is a good asthma med, but they are super expensive even with insurance. $84 each is what I was quoted. Nice, but i need one at home, school, sitter and asthma bag. Please help

I just received 3 cannisters of Warrick albuterol from familymeds.com . Total cost was $21.87 for all 3. You can order online - just email them your prescription. |

I just spent a week in the hospital on oxygen because the new inhaler I was given didn't work. I had used Warrick albuterol for years. What really irriates me is that little inhaler is more deadly to our world's environment that SUVs, Hummerrs, trucks, volcanoes, industial smoke , grills with coal, airplanes, you name it. the one thing that works for ashtma is GONE. Will these people pay my hospital bill? Hardly. Do they care about us? No. There are more children with asthma than ever before. What can we do?
