I dont understand how some people can be so carless and knowingly give this to you! I havent felt the same since. I find myself crying every day. I hope they find a cure.

Acyclovir works well enough for me. As long as I catch the tingling in time.

they are curing HSV as we speak. the company viradux probably has the most advanced approach based on very new anti-herpetic research. and it is available now.

fenvir didn't work for me but I had good results from viradux. Try lots of different things though... the cure is out there you just have to find what works for you.

Hi, this happened to me. She wanted someone to take care of her and thought I was a good candidate. So she was eager to sleep with me, seduced me without telling me she had oral/genital HSV1. The most upsetting thing is being prevented from making the choice to have sex with a HSV sufferer.

My heart goes out to you, I feel the same. Betrayed, hurt, angry, self loathing, dirty and every day when I wake up, my stomach turns over. The only time I'm at peace is when I'm asleep. I think you have to channel these emotions and find a way to best deal with the HSV. I've scowered the Internet looking for the best treatments. I have found Lysine to protect the cells and best of all, Olive Leaf Extract which is a natural potent astringent that kills viruses, bacteria and fungi to be an excellent natural suppressant. I'am not pitching these supplements, I'am a fellow suffer and encourage those reading this to checkout the net as to what others have said regarding them. My thoughts and prayers are with all my fellow suffers, and my hopes are for a cure to be found soon. In the meantime, all is not lost. Take care!-Jonathan.

I was diagnosed with HPV about three years ago, when they found cervical cancer...six weeks after I had my son...I thaught that was all it was until about six months ago when I started having my first break out. I still cant believe that I was not fully educated on the subject and my husband has questions as well. I was told by my latest (and so far most inelegant" dr. that "you could have caught it the first time you had sex" I don't know what to do...or what to tell my husband...I have never cheated and don't know how this could have happened...what should I do?

These guys do some great natural therapies http://gentlyheal.com/

I haven't used their cold sore treatment but I have found a number of their other products very effective.

A lot of mainstream research is going into this. Be patient. A cure will come. Meanwhile take care of yourself and keep your immune system healthy to minimise outbreaks.

My heat goes out to you. I was just wondering, have you ever tried doing a full body cleanse? A full body cleanse will help cleanse out all the major organs in your body including your blood. When you have herpes, it's very important to keep cleansing your blood. This will help you out so much. If you need more information about what I am taking about, please feel free to contact me.

Well it really depends on who you believe in regards to this issue. If you are waiting on Western Medicine to produce a cure, you are going to be waiting a long time. Western Medicine would lose so much money if they provided you with a cure. All these different pharmacy's would go out of business. This is why a lot of people have turn to taking natural herbs in order to heal their bodies. When you get a free chance, please google healing healing your body naturally and start researching how to heal your body from this. If you have any questions, please feel free to hit me up.

I do think eventually they will find a cure for herpes but at the moment there is none. There are however a lot of treatments for curing the outbreaks quickly.

It is not the worst disease but still annoying. The worst thing about herpes is the social stigma surrounding it.

Like Foneatic says you need to change your diet.
high arginine rich foods (nuts,chocolate,alcohol,...) you should avoid as much as possible. Eating food rich in lysine (chicken,sprouts,fish,...)will help a lot.

Symptoms of the Herpes Virus..

There are a number of symptoms that range of severity and frequency from person to person. For instance, many people with genital herpes never experience sores, or the symptoms are so mild that they are mistaken for insect bites or a different skin condition.

During the first outbreak, which occurs between two days and two weeks after first contraction, symptoms tend to be more pronounced and serious than later on. General symptoms include:

Muscle aches in the lower back, buttocks, thighs, and knees
Swollen and tender lymph nodes in the groin
Decreased appetite
Painful urination
Vaginal discharge
Genital blisters that are small, painful, and filled with clear or yellow fluid
In women, the genital blisters are placed along the outer vaginal lips, vagina, cervix, thighs, buttocks, and around the anus.

In men, the genital blisters are placed on the penis, scrotum, around the anus, thighs, and buttocks. Both men and women may have blisters on the tongue, eyes, gums, lips, fingers, mouth, and other parts of the body. The area of skin infected by blisters may tingle, burn, itch, or be painful before the blisters appear.

The second outbreak may occur anywhere from a few days to weeks after the initial outbreak. Symptoms may also vary in severity but tend to be less serious.

Hey everyone when I 1st contracted this I went on a rampage online to see who's searching for a cure to this. Good news is there is someone working on a cure and they are apparently close. The best news is that it's the science team in Aus that created the worlds first cervical cancer vaccine. Here the article.

I was diagnosed with Herpes (genital, not sure whether HSV1 or 2) just a mere few weeks ago - December 12th 2013 to be exact. Like many of you here I have felt betrayed, angry, hurt, sad, sick and I could go on. Straight away I've done research about it, and to help answer some peoples questions who have been with a partner for many years I have to tell you this - you or your partner may have had herpes for many many years, so don't immediately assume they were unfaithful to you, as I know it is easy to do so. Herpes is a very stealthy virus which can lay dormant and at times cannot be picked up by your standard blood tests or swabs that you have done at GUM clinics. The most likely times that they can be picked up by these tests is during an outbreak or what is knows as a shedding period. During a shedding period you may not actually have the more common and easily recognisable symptoms like an ulcer, rash, blisters etc. but you may feel itchy or tingly feelings at the area of infection. Do not brush these small signs off as nothing, these are important in staying safe and hopefully preventing passing the virus on to another. When you feel tingly or itchy it is a sign you are about to have an outbreak, and during the shedding period & outbreak this is when your virus is most active and will have a vastly higher percentage of being passed on or potentially spreading.
Now for the people who are worried about love life, have no fear!! Like you I feel dirty, embarrassed and ashamed. But having herpes is no different than normal dating, youll either get a yes or a no, simple as that. I decided to tackle this head on, I told one girl straight out that before we continue dating you need to know I have herpes......haven't heard from her since. The second girl ive started dating I told the exact same thing as she still wants to meet up as she likes me for who I am, but obviously I need to use protection. So hope is not lost, if you portray a negative attitude about our condition then people will only react negatively, you must remain positive and accepting of it, like many of us it is not our fault, we have been victims. And things could be much worse, I mean you can still lead a normal life with herpes, have a prosperous career, start a family, literally anything. All it means is that you may have to wait a little longer for the love of your life.
Good luck fellow sufferers!!
