As a lifelong bedwetter I have to agree it can be managed quite easily with the right products and practicing good personal hygene. Although I am seldom dry at night only those I choose to tell know about it.

There are certainly nonsurgical options available for incontinence especially for those with milder to moderate symptoms. People who may have serious cases of UI, on the other hand, may need to undergo a certain type of surgical procedure to lessen their episodes of leaks. However, I read at bladderslingrecall.us that these procedures may involve the use of mesh slings which may fail and cause complications at some point after surgery.

I would rather just wear nappies than have any surgical procedure or take any medication to combat my bedwetting.

/\ I am with you Steve. I too would rather just wear the diaper rather than get the surgery which is quite scary and could cause me to come out even worse than I am. Or take the medication which can prove harmful for my liver, kidneys, and heart. I took medication for my ADHD problem which nearly killed me as it turned me emo and I nearly offed my self but was stopped by a couple cats.

Studies have shown that 97% of all surgeries due to urinary problems were unnecessary. A lot of these conditions may be managed through conservative methods such as pelvic floor exercises, weigh reduction, and bladder training. It should be noted that thousands of women were persuaded to have vaginal mesh surgeries and right now they are suffering from severe complications. Search "Vaginal Mesh" in google to learn of other techniques and learn the sad tales of women injured by these devices.

It may be best to explore other alternative treatments with a doctor first before submitting to surgery. There are several non-operative treatment options that a patient may take advantage of to delay the possibility of surgery including pelvic floor exercises. I also read a few posts online including this one bladdermeshlawsuit.us/transvag inal-mesh-lawsuits/ that some mesh devices used in surgical procedures have been reported to cause serious complications in many patients.

I wet every night. Diapers and plastic panties are not too bad and they almost always keep my bed and my pajamas dry. Its a little embarassing when I look like a toddler but mom and her friends are pretty cool. Mom puts my diapers on before bed but I can take them off in the morning unless i'm soiled which doesn't happen very often. We hav a room where mom and her friends change the kids they babysit. When I go downstairs in the morning they just ask me if I'm soiled. If I'm just wet they tell me to go put my diapers in my diaper pail and clean my bottom with the wipes there. If i soiled myself one of the ladies change me and clean me.

Indeed, there are many options available in managing urinary incontinence without undergoing surgery. A lot of women have reported of relieving symptoms of UI through these methods. This may range from behavioral modifications, physical therapies, devices such as pessaries and inserts, interventional therapies and many more. This means that one does not have to undergo surgery immediately even if this is recommended by the doctor. Surgeries using vaginal mesh devices have resulted to numerous complaints of severe complications. To know more about this, you may visit http://www.vaginalmeshlawsuitcenter.us/
