The NMDoH workforce is comprised of the worst of the worst ensonced do-nothing employees. It should be purged and restaffed from scratch.

Nothing to worry about. The whole department (and all other State departments) will be gutted when the Dollar goes belly up this winter and making payroll for the sorry bunch of leeches will be impossible.

Why stay and fight against the most worthless
employees on the face of the earth. These are
those in the State of NM Healthworkers organization.

They are a bunch of do nothing blow hards that
are peggy the moocher types - give me a paycheck for nothing and I still will not be happy.

The sad part is that these clowns get paid good money for their lack of efforts on the behalf of
the entire state and the citizens.

Sounds like maybe the State Healthworkers cut you off of medical marijuana because they recognized you as an addict.

That's a mean thing to say just because you didn't like the food while you were a patient at the mental hospital in Las Vegas.

NM State employees are stupid, incompetent, and lazy. They have to hire contractors to figure out how to plan for and to actually do anything of any complexity. Even then, they blow off oversight and totally mismanage all of the contracts (the ones they don't lose track of altogether, that is). Case in point, SHARE, which still doesn't work right and still won't work right even after their latest over-priced contracted emergency project to fix it is 'completed'.

Their IT people are just as bad. Anything they do is a boondoggle. If they hire and outside entity, it usually implodes, then they blame that entity to cover the poor oversight the NM IT people provided and their poorly written contract.

And to add insult to injury, the incompetent State leeches contract to companies who either export work out of country or haul in HB1 visa workers to do it, effectively contributing to U.S. unemployment.

Agreed but poor leadership is to blame
You're talking the unions of course! The entities who keep the fires of ineptness going.

Management handed a staff of stupid, lazy, incompetents is powerless unless they are authorized to promplty purge the ranks and hire intelligent, capable, willing workforce. SPO has no backbone for such purging. The ensconced leeches know this, and so, make no effort to learn anything new or to apply themselves to any constructive direction from management, perpetuating State government's legacy of waste and corruption.

Sure they are real managers. But cats will not be herded and as soon as managers realize the futility of the situation they cut their losses and move on to more sane (and more lucrative) opportunities. This the leeches count on as well, holding onto their culture of SPO supported insubordination to the detriiment of the entire State.

The leeches will ultimately reap what they sow as their precious retirement fund is being steadily, inexorably depleted. As of 2010 it was underfunded to the tune of a verifiable $7.5 Billion and possibly underfunded as much as $22.9 Billion (not including health insurance which is underfunded by at least $2.9 Billion).

The NM leech retirement fund is running out, no matter which way you slice and dice it.

Think again. With PERA boards being staffed by anyone so stupid as to invest in such shaky stuff like Bernie Madoff 'securities' and the plummeting economy, the leech retirement fund cannot be saved. PERA will leave the bloodsucking leeches sucking eggs.

Get some facts especially if you use Lobo in your name, if not switch to Aggies
Oh, so you liked the food at the Las Vegas mental hospital, but they didn't give you the meds you wanted, and that is why you are so down on the Health providers. Nothing wrong with the Aggie school except it is too close to Texas, so I will stick with Lobo.

Actually they just squandered slot of taxpayer money on a golden parachute for their ineffective leader then refused to disclose why. Not bashing health providers just the corrupt and unqualified cabinet secretary! Did you attend highlands? On par with the hospital you seem to know well?
Actually you are right about NMSU. Why is it that the public does not get to know the truth about why Couture left, except that she gets a $454,000 bailout? That is obscene. Why do they even allow severance packages? Nobody is so valuable to justify that.

I have family roots in San Miguel County, but did not attend Highlands.

Here's an example of wasteful spending that we can easily cut. Cut the whole group. No need for this. This is a "nice to have". We can't afford to be wasting money on useless things. The Aggie football team should be #2. Board of regents #3. Fifty million levels of civil servants. There is one boss per employee. We have people serving in offices that do not add any value at all. No value equals cut. The state needs to go on a diet.

Yep just as suspected the worst and laziest
employees in the State of New Mexico who
do nothing but stand around and complain
about things and try to find a way to shirk
their work.

Oh wait were talking about the New Mexico healthcare workers - I thought we were talking
about the Maobama State Department.

In that case, they are truly the worst of the
worst, the laziest, the most screwed up people
on the face of the earth who could not figure
their way out of a wet paper bag.
