What's going to be the new trend for you idiots to get attention, when this is old hat? Less than 1% of the planet has Celiac. How many of you pretend to have it, so the conversation can become about you? How many of you saw it on the Kardashian show? Truly pathetic.

Wheat allergies can go extreme or stay relatively dormant for awhile. It all depends on what you're doing to boost your immune system. I stay healthy by taking supplements that do just that.

Recently found a new one on amazon called instant immunity. Recommend trying it if you're always getting sick.

It must be hot for you, wearing a tinfoil hat in August. Did you read that "fact" in the enquirer? Here's a real fact - less than 1% of the world is intolerant to gluten.
You didn't even know what gluten was 5 years ago. I have been studying nutrition since you were in diapers.
Only in America would someone pretend to be sick, to pay more money for less healthy food - all for attention!
And what is 1 % of the world's population Sparky malarky?

If you do not have celiac disease, consider yourself fortunate.

If you have a friend or family member with celiac disease, then you would be a good friend or family member to read about it and be considerate when making restaurant choices or hosting a dinner invitation.

Other than that, give it a rest and do not speak about it as if it were a fad.

People who have celiac are not thrilled about it. They do not enjoy making this adjustment for fun. They must make the adjustment to stay pain free and to avoid other health problems that coexist with celiac.

So for folks who think this is a fad, it isn't.

Anyone who thinks it will help them lose weight, it will not, many gluten free products have the opposite effect.

Gluten free products do not always taste good or bad. They are sometimes nutritious and sometimes not. Your friend or family member has probably tried a lot and narrowed down the ones they find ok. So ask them next time you have them over for dinner. Find out what's good and what to avoid.

Also, if you are going out to a restaurant with a friend with Celiac, check out a few restaurants and be sure they have a decent menu and a good rating for keeping their customers safe. Nothing is fun about showing up to have dinner with friends and the only thing the person with celiac can eat is a stripped down salad or a broiled piece of chicken breast.

Imagine what it would be like to eat almost nothing while everyone else in your party gets to pig out and make snide comments about a person who cannot enjoy the same.

This is an opportunity to become enlightened and helpful.

How about giving that a try instead of calling it a fad.

Vacines contain MSG a wheat derivative that is causing the intolerance/ reaction. Thats where the TREND comes from.
MSG is derived from Soy. Although not all that good for a lot of folks, the gluten in this product is not the same as the gluten from wheat, barley, and rye.

Some people with celiac still cannot tolerate MSG and others are not bothered by it.

In general, the world might be a better place without this ingredient, but pretty sure it is not totally evil.

There are worse ingredients in our food supply.

How about giving reading a try, instead of just spouting off. Looks like you'd better start with yourself when it's time to "eradicate ignorance." I never said Celiac is a fad. I said people with Celiac wish they could eat wheat. I truly feel sorry for them, and would help them any way possible.
The former Atkins dieters who now lie about being "Gluten Intolerant" are part of a fad.(Like the clueless dope talking about vaccines.) They just do it for attention, as a way to make conversations be about themselves. Faking an allergy is a pretty pathetic way to get attention.
Was not replying to you. Get your panties out of a wad.

The point is that even if some folks are trying out a gluten free diet and they do not have celiac, that should not interfere with those who do need to stick to the diet.

So to be safe, when dealing with anyone with a food allergy, probably best to be as considerate and helpful as possible.

And try not to decide whether or not a particular individual is doing a fad diet. If they are, then that is their problem.

But to assume that just because only 1% have celiac does not mean that you are qualified to determine which ones have it or not.

So take a break from your outrage and go with the flow.

Any actual Evidence supporting that asinine claim? Or just more BS from the anti vaccination crowd?

Don't bother asking, we both know the answer.
