Hi Nids,
It is great to know that you are seeing results with patangli medicine. I have recently also started patangali medicine (2 days ago), I wanted to know some more details from you.
- How long did you take the medicine before you started to see any results?
- Were/are your patches bilateral? i.e., on same areas on both sides of hands, legs etc.
- Did you experience any side effects like dizzyness or itching from the lep?(from day 2 of sun exposure with the lep, I have redness on some of my patches which are mildly itching)
- Did you take any other supplements other than the calcium?
Thanks a lot,
hi,

- i was first exposing the scars to UV lamp for about 2 months, later on doctors suggestion i started sun exposure instead of uv lamp. within 2- 3 weeks itself, i could see improvement in my newer patches. but doctor told me that many patients see redness within a week itself, which is a good sign. Hope ypu are using kaya kalp tel also which will subdue itchiness. my skin got very dry in old patches for which doctor advised to use pigmento ointment at night.

Some of my patches were bilateral especially in legs

i did not experience any dizziness-( i believe you are having it becaiuse of oral use of bakuchi churna-i use half a tablespoon in warm water.) infact redness is a good sign

i also took D -Rise (vitamin D supplement) once in a week with warm milk.

just remember not to use soap on the patches, instead wash with gram flour. You will definitely see results, if the patches are very old, it may take 2-3 months for the visible improvement, but if the patches are new, you will notice the result within a month itself.
Avoid non- veg atleast till you take the medicines.
lessen sour things intake - u can take in lesser quantity.

All the Best and please inform others also if you see any improvement.

Dear Dr Mohd Junaid,

For my wife we are using Lukoskin since last two months strictly avoiding the restricted foods and increasing the recommended foods like everyday copper water, carrot & loki juice etc. etc.

1. Patches are not still stabilizing, these are spreading and existing patches are getting more brighter.

2. Please reconfirm me about UVA lamp with 365nm. Is this lamp should be really of 300watts? which is not available in Canada. But I can get UVA lamp with 4 to 60watts only, will that be equally effective ?

3. She is applying cream and exposing sunlight 5-10 minutes twice in a day and taking 1 ml of liquid after food three times in a day. Please advice if the dosage require changes ?

Early reply will be highly appreciated.

Regards,
JKD

Hi Nids,
Could you let me know a little about the recovery process? I mean what changes do you see when getting skin colour back, does it start with blacks dots, redness or just skin color shows up.
I used the patanjali lep for two days and after the second application + 15min sun exposure (at 8:30am), my skin turned pink and then red with blisters, it worsen on day 3 & 4 (although I did not apply lep after day2). It is itching badly. I applied coco butter cream to get some relief. Today I have applied Kayakalp Tal.
Please provide any comments or suggestions.
Thanks,

Hey if blisters are coming then reduce sun exposure maybe.the doctor had told me that while for most of the cases the medicines would suit but in few cases it may be cause burning. In my case blister came but at later stages, not that early. I stopped medicine on those patches and started applying after a break of 3- 4 days. It might be you are using too thick lep or exposing too much to sun. I suggest reduce the exposure to 5 min gradually increasing to 10 min. For more info you can also watch baba ramdev video on youtube for leucoderma

Thank you very much for your response.
I have stopped the lep + sun exposure for now as the redness, blisters. itching has not reduced yet. Also there is slight bumps too with redness on some spots.

Hope it subsides soon and I will restart the application.

Hi Maria,

My advice to you is to start this patanjali medcine very slowly like may be apply on some patches: 1 or 2 and then only use lep first and then if redness, blisters don't occur, start the internally bakuchi intake.
I am suggesting this based on my experience in the past days.
I applied only lep very thin layer, only 10min 8:30am sun exposure (on all the patches -10 or so) and also took the bakichi churna + other stuff - 1/2 teaspoon...After the second day of this I am having redness, blisters, lot of itching, bumps...etc. And it has been several days and it has not subsided yet...I think it will take another 3 to 4 days at least.

May not happen to you...but just be cautious..as if this happens then you will have to stop medication which is time lost -:(

Hi nisha. Doctor has given me bakuchi choorna to be taken 1 hr before food 2 times a day and swetraghna lep to be mixed with gaudhan ark to be applied to the patches and exposed to early morning sunlight. I apply from 8:30 to 9 am kayakalp oil to be applied at night on the patches. I had lost hopes that i would get well but the medicines are working well on me and i believe that withon 2-3 months i would recover compeltely . These medicines are available online too but i would suggest you meet the doctor in their centre. It would be in your town alos. They told me some yogasanas too and strict diet too but frankly speaking i am not regular on that . Doctor is also very nice. Try these medicines i amsure you will also benefit. All the best

What will you do if you do not see sun for months? I am also using patanjali medicine and worried about that.
Please give me your contact detail to talk to you more about this.
