Dr Nitika, I am using Lukoskin for the past 1 week on my Inner Lip. As told by others and also on the instructions sheet on the Lukoskin - Blisters or Itching is a good sign. As of now these things has not happened to me but the inner lip area has turned a little pink coloured. Could you please suggest if this is the right sign.

Pink is good don't let it blister that is a sign that you are applying too much cream or too much sun

Hi AIMIL, Is butter allowed? Since ghee is allowed shall the patients have butter as well as both are biproducts of milk? Thanks.

Dear All,

Along with Lukoskin, please take copper water as much as you can. I started taking it a month back and observe that the patches stopped/slowed down spreading.
Drink only copper water it really helps.

This is my suggestion with my own experience.

Urgent - Need help on Lukosin post applying on skin care.

Dr.Nitika.
I have some queries on Lukoskin usage and
post application skin care.My mother purchased LukoSkin medicine from Dealer Ravindran from Chennai last week. She did not read the
instructions carefully and applied more quantity of the powder and exposed her skin to the sun for 20 min. She did this for 2 days. After that, she had severe swelling on her face and the skin turned red. She had irritation and itching. We immedialtely called Ravindran and he
asked us to purchase Jasmine oil and apply on the skin. She applied for 2 days and now the swelling has come down. Apart from this, she
also applied normal coconut oil and ice-pack to reduce the swelling. The swelling has come down but the red marks are still present. Can you please suggest what we need to do now? How do we get rid of the red sun-burn type marks. Expecting a reply as early as possible from you,

We had this issue as well there is not much to do at the moment besides applying jasmine oil. We were advised to stop exposure to the sun till it healed. You only need to apply a very light coating of the ointment.

I want to clarify that it hasn't completely healed yet.The progress is around 80 percent. As for the diet you will need to look up the Aimil website there are a few restrictions. We however kept away from meat and diary products primarily .My wife takes a combination of b12 and frolic acid which I think is effective and soaks almonds in water as recommended and eats them in the morning. She has been very consistent with exposure to the sun and taking the medicine as well. She has also made sure that she gets enough sleep and is not stressed because Vitiligo according to research has a direct link to stress.Hope this helps.

Note - I am not a doctor these are just our experiences, I hope someone from Aimil will answer all these queries on the forum.

Rakesh
