For the people that keep saying it is spreading, was it spreading all along or did it start spreading after using the treatment? Please to those people that state its spreading was this something you noticed after taking this medicine. Regardless of what the claims are from the company who make it the people are what will provide the experience. If this product is such a miracle cure as it claims to be then why is this not being sold in North America, Europe and so forth?
Mike,

I am not sure about the spreading but I can assure you that this is no snake oil.My wife has been on the treatment and it seems to be working.I can tell you this much that we see a lot of improvement,as for if the pigment that she gained will disappear over time that I do not know but I can keep this community posted. The reason it is not available outside of India is medical regulations in different countries like for eg certification by the FDA which is a long process and this being an ayurvedic medicine makes it all the more difficult. This medicine was formulated by the Defense research organization a govt body in India,so in terms of authenticity I trust it.If it will work for everyone I do not know .My wife maintains diet and consistently gets sun exposure and follows instructions. If you have any questions I can help.I am not a Doctor just trying to help the folks in the forum from our experience.

Hi Dr Nikita,

I am getting severe itching on the patches where I apply lukoskin ointment, specially in the night.

As per the instruction I am applying jasmine oil on the affected area but it is also not helping much.

Can you please advise me what should I do in these cases as many times the itching is unbearable.

Also can you suggest which Jasmine oil should I use, as of now I use Parachute Jasmine hair oil as I did not find pure jasmine oil anywhere.
Thanks for your help in advance.

Dear Nalin - Very good to hear your father responding towards the Lukoskin. My wife has Vitiligo from last 6 years and we started Lukoskin from last 2 monts but haven't seen any progress as such. Could you please guide and suggest me on the strict food diets I need to follow - what are the signs of improvement and all. I would need your help. If you can provide me your cell number - I can even connect with you to talk.

Thanks
Kanwar

i am 24 yrs old and have this problem since i was 15, i started using lukoskin from sep 2011 onwards and have shown tremendous improvement, no new spots have appeared and have recovered around 50% as a whole. 80%in face , 70% in elbows,60% in both legs, but not much improvement in palms and heels , but overall i am very satisfied with the result because allopathic and ayurvedic didnt help me at all and i have slowly started regaining lost confidence. i wish good luck to those who are using lukoskin and sincerely hopes they recover soon.

yes i do expose myself to sunlight everyday, generally in the morning for about 40 mins. it is very important for repigmentation. as far as the diet is concerned i dont take citrus fruits and vegetables .i take one glass each of carrot and bottlegourd everyday.though it is very important to avoid nonveg deight but i indulge in it once in a week ,being a pahari cant help it.

Kanwar,

Maybe I can help my wife also has been using Lukoskin for about 4 months now and we have seen improvement.Progress started by itching and then tiny freckles or dots appeared these continued to appear in large numbers till they joined to close in. My wife gets sun exposure everyday close to 45 mins she eats almonds soaked in water every morning and keeps away from non vegetarian food.she also takes a vitamin b12 and fOlic acid. She rests well and makes sure she gets enough sleep I have seen a strong connection between lack of sleep and spread of Vitiligo.

Sure,my wife had this issue with itching. Intact she had blisters with severe itching.I contacted the Drs at Delhi and they said that itching was a good sign but if she was blistering it was probably due to over medication . She was asked to apply a very thin layer of the cream and to apply jasmine oil.
Once we did that for a week it went away.

My advice to you would be to not apply a lot of cream if ur blistering but if it's just itching then apply jasmine oil multiple times. I hope this helps.

Amar,

I just noticed that you said you applied the cream at night however you need to expose the patches to the evening or early morning sun. I cannot help you with the brand of oil as I live outside India and am not aware of the brands.
