As a shareholder of Pfeizer stock, I will have to say that I am proud and impressed with this action recently taken by Pfeizer. Much like in the Billy Crystal film "Mr. Mom", this shows that not only a tuna company can claim to be "The company with a heart".

Wait, wait - time out. Pfizer is going to provide viagra (of all drugs) to jobless, bored men? Sex is the best free entertainment out there; do we really need these men possibly impregnating women when admittedly they are (a) unemployed and (b) without health insurance? This strikes me as totally asinine.

Ummm...it's called Pfizer (shouldn't you know that if you are a shareholder). And Mr. Mom starred Michael Keaton, not Billy Crystal.

Free Viagra? In an economic downturn one would think there would be more important things to worry about other than an erection. Spare me.

Geez, Tiny Tim...your mind must be tiny in addition to other things.lol For a shareholder, you are impressed that they are giving away freebies?!!! You are not business-minded!! Plus you can't even spell the pharma correctly. It is Pfizer!
Btw, Billy Crystal was not in Mr. Mom - it was Michael Keaton.

Have to keep them addicted to your recreational drugs, don't you, Pfizer. Obviously men are running this company.

Yes because all we need is for the unemployed to be home all day hopped up on Viagra. Give them the motivation to reproduce and have more children that the taxpayer will have to foot the bill to raise. May as well take it one step further and include that free prescription along with the food stamps.

If you really want to help people in an economic downturn, provide free birth control. Babies are expensive. Help prevent them, not create them.

Sounds logical, I mean, nothing like making sure you may get somebody pregnant AFTER you lose your job! HILARIOUS!

Maybe they'll come up with a new ad campaign ,,, a la "Mr. Mom" ,,, "The Company with a Heart-On"

But of course they are not providing free birth control - because we wouldn't want to encourage women to have sex - just men.

Seriously, it's a nice idea if it were meds for life-threatening issues (meds for diabetes or heart conditions or HPB), but nicotine patches? Viagra? Wouldn't be better if BHO just had congress pass a bill to legalize pot ,,, that way, we could all just chill and laugh our way thru the recession ,,, and it would help those receiving chemo and who have cataracts to boot!

I'm willing to bet the free Viagra is going to be peddled on the black market, at least some of it. Getting hard sometimes just isn't as important when one is hard up.

What a great idea. Let's all make babies, we can't afford.
