If you are a physically active person who has been placed on any of this class of drugs,I want to hear your story.

Write and tell me why you were placed on it and any benefits, adverse effects and so on. Has there been a resolution of the original issue and have been able to resume/continue activity?

[email protected] or go directly to:

This website also gives information about me so that you know what this is all about.

I have been taking Fosamax for four years and since that time I have had a surgery on my right shoulder due to a bone spur cutting through the tendon. I am afraid due to increase pain in my left shoulder that the same problem may be now developing again. My joints in my fingers hurt and my right ankle. I am wondering if anyone else thinks this could be linked to Fosamoax?

It is so ironic to know that a drug that is supposed to treat osteoporosis, a kind of bone disease can further lead you to another kind of bone disease. It is as if no treatment happened in the first place because after treating one, another one is likely to arise. This is unimaginable.

I have read an announcement from the US FDA regarding an osteoporosis drug called Fosamax which was largely reported to cause Fosamax bone fracture. I really wish people will conduct an in depth study on this for the safety of the millions whoa are taking Fosamax due to osteoporosis.

It is quite ironic that bone drugs have the potential to cause another health condition that causes damage to another bone in the body. In addition to that, bisphosphonates such as Fosamax have also been reported to cause femur fractures. Fractures are one of the reasons why osteoporotic patients rely on bisphosphonates. It is disheartening to know that broken bones may also be partly caused by these medications. may have relevant information pertaining to Fosamax and its side effects, as well as legal actions taken by some users.

The FDA has received a number of reports linking Fosamax, a bisphosphonate drug, to several major side effects such as femur fractures, osteonecrosis of the jaw and esophageal cancer. For more information on bone health and related injuries, visit .
