I am very proud to be able to say that Master Fraser was my instructor for two years. She was an amazing teacher and a joy to learn from. You couldn't walk in without being instantly greeted with a warm smile an enthusiastic "Hello Ma'am!"

I went from white belt, to recommended black belt (twice) under the tutelage of Master Fraser, once when I was a wee awkward little lad and again when she opened her new school in Maple Ridge as a young teen.
I remember my very first class, knowing no one and being very shy and feeling awkward. I remember Master Fraser asking how I felt (my Gi was far too large and it poof'd out along my sides) and I distinctly remember saying "Like a bowl full of whipped cream". I remember her infectious smile and also her infectious attitude, you couldn't help but admire her even when you secretly didn't always see eye to eye with her.
She is, as far as my memory serves: A generous, strong but not stern, woman who doesn't command the respect of her students but earns their admiration.
I was so pleased to hear about her Mastership and look forward to stopping by her school whenever I might find myself home.
