I attended Brian Johnson's for 7 years. One of the best schools in the northwest.

I am a kickboxer, military spouse, and teacher with multiple college degrees. I train at Brians gym and absolutely love it, its better than anywhere else I have trained.
Come on people GROW UP, stop trying to slander people you don't know, as well as places and situations you know nothing about. Is this really what my husband and many many other men and women are/have fought for? This is sad and pathetic that people act this was and treat others with such utter disrespect..

It's based on the facts and knowing him personally and all the BS I've seen from him. He has issues and is a very nasty individual. Manipulative should be his middle name. Very good at playing his role

I was a member there when the woman that made the complaint was there. I know the facts of the story and also was personally in classes with the lunatic woman that made the allegations. Jesse failed to mention in that interview that the woman who had the complaint was let out of her contract as soon as she provided a note stating she had a medical condition from her doctor. It also fails to mention that she kept sending her children to classes there and expected them to be able to attend free. As far as the other claims you make...what are you basing it all on besides your obvious grudge towards this gym and all the rage you express?

It's funny I stumbled on this after I tried my trial week. Un-organized classes, instructors standing around talking to each other and ignoring the class. The silver haired guy was on the phone at his desk for the majority of the time plus the place kinda stunk like old socks and sweaty feet. Wasn't too impressed with anything really. Especially the pressure to commit and sign to contract.... which would be the only way to make something like this affordable. $90 a month for 12 months or pay $130 a month to come and go as you please. Someone isn't too confident in their art or school if they have to hold their members hostage with contract savings gimmicks. Use the free week, go somewhere else that doesn't smell and you actually get paid attention to.

I decided to try Brian's academy, sweet as pie the first week. I needed it cause we have a creepy neighbor who likes to follow all the ladies around, when they walk. I had 2 dogs and decided to add a dog for protection once he followed me to the local 7-11. After my trial 2 weeks, I stupidly joined a contract and was screwed. He is absolutely rude. He has one instructor who is only interested in looking at your ass. They teach from books. Terrible awful experience. I approached him about my concerns and was immediately chastised and put in my place. I just quit going, paid my fees and found another school based on word of mouth. I wanted a school that taught me to defend myself not kill someone. The way they taught wasn't informative it was more like a do it this way cause I said so. So glad I didn't give up and tried a different school. :) that was my experience I m sure their are others who had great experiences mine was not one.

I know the woman too and you obviously don't know the facts! Her name is Kristy B. I won't spell out her last name but she is a wonderful woman. The reason continued to go was because he would not let them out of the contract she was still paying so she had them go. She is a lovely woman who went through an awful experience. The poor thing and there was no sympathy. He must be desperate for cash to not allow a sick, cancer stricken SINGLE mother out of her contract. That and the customer service I for after I signed the contract was enough to make me leave. There were other reasons poor, yes poor trainers, late starting classes cause of too much idle chit chat. The one fat pervert who works there and yes his wife who obviously has an anger problem. I heard her nastily lash out at, at least 3 people. One was a young employee who was nearly in tears. Any kind of business like that should be conducted outside the few of the customers. AND I find it funny he doesn't display his 6 time world championship trophies or medals! I call bullshit on that! any owner of a studio who has that is going to display that. I pays mr entire contract but quit and found a better martial arts studio. Yep more expensive but worth my money. If you don't know the whole story or the person you should keep your mouth shut. She is a lovely person and went through hell. They should have done the right thing....
