HEHllO,
I think that age is not a problem.First, you should try your best to learn kung fu.You should regard it as sport. How about you? Do you like Chinese kungfu?

Yes. I like Kungfu very much and wanted to learn it from my childhood. But could not learn due to resistance from family and studies. I will definitely try now to learn Kungfu. Thank you!

Hi,
I am a yoga teacher. I've loved to learn kungfu when I was a little girl but I was not allowed to. Now I am adult who would like to do what I like instead of what people like. I want to go to china for Kunffu. I have a very simple life in Vietnam as a yoga teacher and have limited financial ability. Do you think I can get a scholarship for kungfu in China or any where?

Thank you for the answer.

I have traveled China myself training in different Schools. I have only picked the best ones to send my students to, and I can offer any style of Kung Fu.
I want to see more people have the experience I had.

I went to China and studied there for a few months during the summer. I stayed in Beijing and learned some traditional styles of Kung Fu like Shaolin as well as Sanda (chinese kickboxing) and some new wushu. The teachers were great and I had the best time.

I studied with a program called Bridges to China, but I know some students study at Beijing Sports University and say it is good. I don't remember the site for Beijing Sports University but it's on google. The one for Bridges to China was
www.bridgestochina.org

Also some people use a site called Shaolins.com but I think the service and teaching is not so good.

Also once you are in China you can travel and find other schools that aren't on the internet. But it's easiest to first sign up with a program online like I did.
