Thugs are just people who werent loved by their parents. The parents didnt pay enough attention to the kids and look how they turned out. If they would just take some time to be invalved in their lives then maybe the kids would grow up with better positive values.

I grew up in South central LA, and now a dual resident of: Los Angeles CA and Las Cruces NM. I hung with gang members without being one, worked for CA Youth Authorities, have family members through marriage that are active, and taught special ed highschool. All the stereotypes of what the families are like and economic statuses are not that clear as most assume. Juvenile offenders predominately are learning handicapped, but some are gifted. Gangs do become false families and a backup defense against predators in unsafe neighborhoods. Hopelessness of achieving a better life is a strong incentive to join as well as the need to build up a faltering self esteem by belonging somewhere. The young ones are easily maniplated and managed through drugs, fears and excitement at an early age before they learn to rationalize for themselves by older more hardcore "adults".

This is the best solution for gangs!(Govner are you listening?) Once a gang member is arrested and found guilty of any gang related actitivy should a manatory enlistment into the military. They like guns, being around each other for protection, and fighting Perfect! They are far away from us and maybe in Iraq or somewher in the middle east, and the military courts are alot tougher than our system! Problem solved!!!!!

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Scorpio

It will be easy to let things get on top of you today, especially if you're already feeling rather tired and listless. Do yourself a favor and keep away from anyone who often makes you feel a bit fed up or defensive, because they're the last person you want to be around at the moment. They'll make your spirits sink down to your ankles in a flash, and who needs that?
