I can't believe she even has a challenger at all. Marlborough has weathered the Obama Economy better than most Massachusetts communities. It's a great place to live because of her.

I agree shes weathered a lot well now if we could just get out and vote out the councelers at large and a couple of ward councelers we would have a great city goverment.
I for one think its time to clean house and get rid of the click thats there playing games and spending money on all but what it needs to be spent on. Its definely time for Vigent Pope Levy Deliano and Ferel to go, we need councelers that have a clue.

"Weathered The Obama Economy"??? You've got to be kidding me! The economy has been bankrupted and the government corrupted by eight years of arrogance and ignorance under the Cheney/Bush administration. Get a clue.

You Libs are fast becoming the ghost party.

You never take responsibility for your mess, and always blame the other side, hoping that there are enough simpletons out there still believing you.

The fall of Obama and your party is faster than anyone thought. From the idiotic euphoria of a year ago, Obama & the Dems are at a point where the only possible outcome is a loss of unimaginable proportions, and you still blame Bush.

The stupidity of Obama voters still amazes me.

I didn't see enough debate between the candidates to make a good judgement and comparison. I will make my decision on past performance. I haven't even seen many lawn signs either. As a long time Marlboro resident I am concerned about 2 things. First, taxes we must keep a handle on them and not allow them to grow to quickly. Inevitably they will grow because of fiscal need and inflation. But for goodness sake continue to cap them.
Second Illegal apartments/aliens they go hand in hand. I have had 12 illegals living next door to me for over 3 years in an illegal rooming house. What is supposed to be a nice two family is actually chopped up apartments for Brazilian workers. Even in an unfinished field stone cellar. Drunk loud and party animals all the time. It has ruined the real estate value of our neighborhood I have lost equity because of it. Crush the illegal apartments shut them down, punish the slum lords. Make Marlboro better. Enforce the laws we already have on the books. Which candidate will do these things best?

There is such a thing as morals. In a city like Marlborough (or anywhere else for that matter) it is not appropriate to be dating someone working in city departments. Also, this does not set a very good example for our students and young adults.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Aries

Christmas Eve finds you happy and eager to get the most out of the day. You're in a rather sentimental mood, so if you've got time you'll relish the chance to watch a favourite film, especially if it means you've got to get out the hankies. A friend's kindness or sensitivity will delight you - and make you wonder how you can reciprocate.
