We just returned from a 5 day holiday in Marrakech. Riad Al Moussika was our base to explore the medina and for trips to the coast and to the Atlas mountains. The riyad is a carefully and tastefully restored historical building which offers a quiet retreat after a busy day in the pulsating city. There are only 6 bedrooms and many additional sitting rooms including a well stocked library and a room with a grand piano. The weather in january was too cold to use the pool in the beautiful courtyard but we thoroughly enjoyed to relax in the hamam. Breakfast is of very good quality and the lunches were among the best meals we had in Marrakech. The personel is competent and very helpful and offers a friendly, personalized service. Restaurants and Transportation are suggested on request and promtly organized. We highly recommend this riyad!

Riad Al Moussika is magic!( www.riyad-al-moussika.com ) First I thought that it was a bit dear but then, when I experienced the hotel, I realized it was worth every penny!!! You feel like a pasha and you are treated as one. The service unrivalled. The private taxi came to pick us at the airport, then we arrived in this beautiful historical palace where a very qualified and involved staff was waiting for us.. Our room was a beautiful suite viewing the Moorish court, MAGICAL! We had an hammam with a massages so delightful.

The breakfasts and lunches made by the Chef Khalid were delicious and we discover the real amazing Moroccan cuisine!! We truly had a second honeymoon.

With my boyfriend I have been at Riyad Al Moussika for 4 nights at the beginning of October and everything has been fantastic! http://www.riyad-al-moussika.com/
Since the moment when the entrance door opened at our arrival, we realised that we have made a good choice. The ever smiling team of boys at the guests’ service is really unique for the professionalism they displayed: Nothing was too much trouble and their attitude toward a gay couple as we are, was discrete and full of attention as we were two... honeymooners. As soon as we declared that our holiday was a celebration of the first anniversary of our first year of
shared life, a complimentary bottle of French champagne has been offered to us with the touching wishes of hundred years more of mutual happiness!
The hotel is a real gem of Moorish architecture, the suite we had was amazing, with an incredible bath tub in marble, the location is perfect, close to the main square, the souks and the monuments, and last, but not for its relevance,
the food served is really first class! Moroccan, Italian and French recipes are combined with an exceptional result for the palate! We will go back at the first occasion!

Marrakech Hotel Riad Al Moussika: "The best location, finest foods and all with the highest level of service from a dedicated team"
You can see a short film I posted on you tube which shows the Riyad and a look at Marrakech at www.youtube.com/watch...
I read the reviews about the Riyad Al Moussika on tripadvisor and agree with many of the reviewers when they say that this is the place to stay whilst in Marrakech. I needed a relaxing break and all the stress of cancelled and delayed flights were soon forgotten. What is even more special is the history and exquisite quality and design of the Riyad together with friendly atmosphere especialy for those with families. You really do feel like you are staying at a former Mansion of the Pasha of Marrakech. Upon arriving at the Riyad we were greeted by Hassan the manager and other staff with a splendid array of Moroccan snacks and mint tea. We were made to feel at home right from the very start and my children simple loved every second of their experience at the Riyad. Hassan is an intelligent and lovely gentleman who went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable on our trip including personally accompanying us in showing us the famous Jemma Al Fna sqaure and Al Badi and El Bahi palace which were ideally located nearby. The stay at Riyad included breakfast and lunch fit for a King or Queen. The quality of the food was simple amazing (Gordon Ramsey & Jamie Oliver eat your heart out) in short and the freshly squeezed orange juice is out of this world. You can still eat evening dinner at the Riyad at an additional cost or they will happily assist in organising a booking elswhere. We particularly appreciated the tour of the Ourika Valley and other sight seeing tours organised by the Riyad. We had the same driver Khalid for most of our journeys and he really looked after us and I recommend you ask for him to add value to your stay. Simple things like arranging the horse carriage to take us from the Riyad to save us haggling in the square to helping us pack our Tagine to take back gave us the 'home from home' feeling. Overall the Riyad caters flexibly to your needs whilst offering the best experience of Marrakech. For value for money, 100%, you will live and feel like the Pasha. I have stayed in many places all over the world and some are things are just priceless, the Riyad Al Moussika is one of the. I left a few shirts at the Riyad by mistake but Hassan sent them without delay back to me. I will definitely return one day and congratulate everyone from the chefs, staff, receptionists and management for making this an experience of a lifetime for guests from around the world.

Fantastic wedding anniversary at the hotel Riad Al Moussika – Marrakech
( http://www.riyad-al-moussika.com/ )
With a group of friends we had an amazing experience celebrating the wedding anniversary of two of them at this traditional hotel Riad that is a gemstone building in the medina of Marrakech. The staff very qualified spoke English fluently and were more than helpful all the time and welcoming. The very large breakfast and lunches were great, and we appreciated the daily menu changes. It was wonderful to come back each night to have a massage in the hammam and relax.
The location very quiet, was perfect for seeing both the mains monuments, the famous central square with the souks. Would stay again in a heartbeat

Hotel Riad Al Moussika :Amazing example of traditional Marrakech 's architecture.
http://www.riyad-al-moussika.com/
We took advantage of the Winter special offer, book 3 nights and pay 2 only, and it was a wonderful sojourn indeed!
Everything was perfect as told, rooms were magnificent and full of comfortable accessories, everything very spotless, big saloon, one, astonishingly enough for Marrakech, with a grand piano. Great breakfast and lunches to die for, ambience and class in everything. But the most fantastic experience was the very, very professional team of boys, which have been so relaxing, smiling and warm that you feel like you were in another word! I've never experienced something like this before: A place with a magic atmosphere. The hotel is really marvellous and it is an amazing example of traditional Moroccan architecture that in those times should be taken into consideration by the architects to save energy …
From the first moment we arrived we started to understand why this hotel has so many good reviews, we know first hand!

Hotel Riad Al Moussika Marrakech
BRILLIANT experience, FANTASTIC place
We stayed at Riad Al Moussika ( http://www.riyad-al-moussika.com/ ), at the end of January for 3 nights as a celebration our friends anniversaries and had a marvellous time. It well deserves all the positive things that are said about the hotel, the staff and the location.
For the night of our arrival, our group had a delicious dinner with the incredible Gnawa musicians …a real banquet of other times.
The boys were always happy to help you, whether advising on where to go around Marrakech, or serving a wonderful mint tea with yummy patisserie, enjoying the view of the superb Moorish court.
Breakfast was enjoyable, always plentiful and their home marmalade ..ambrosia! Lunch more than excellent
The location of the hotel is great, every important site easily accessible by a few minutes walk, and the main square it’s very close.
The rooms are decorated to a very high standard and always clean, we stayed in a comfort room.
Overall, this is a FANTASTIC place to stay, I would recommend

Hotel Riad Al Moussika Marrakech : A great hotel, great people !
We stayed at Hotel riad Al Moussika , http://www.riyad-al-moussika.com/ , at the end of January, for a couple of friends wedding anniversary. The staff were very helpful and welcoming from the moment we arrived , the room was superb: clean, comfortable and large. The bathroom had a great marble bath. The riad is situated in an excellent spot in the medina of Marrakech for walking to a lot of tourist places. The cuisine is excellent and nicely presented and not comparable with the mediocre quality food we had in others reputed good restaurants in Marrakech . All in all a great hotel, great people and made a brilliant weekend. Would definitely stay here again.

I don't want to rain on your nice time but go back a few more times and things will not be that magical to you, lol. You will see the real Morocco!!! Young girls prostituting, muggers everywhere and corruption at an all time high and very hungry and poor people without work.
