I hope a Full investigation of this accident would lead to arrest and prosecution of those responsible, be they the owners or managers or the health deparment or safety inspectors, who are usually very corrupt official in Morocco. I see that all the victims families be compensated from the funds fo those responsible. Plz help the families of the victims, and send charities to them, these workers are poor people, and their families would be left destitutes. Morocco should use this tragedy as a reason to immediately revise its inspection standards on safety at all workplaces.

as sad as a tragedy this was, i seriously doubt if any meaningful justice will be met. Morocco's powers that be, are too corrupt and they will not allow that proverbial can of worms to be opened. if justice is to be served, it would take the international community to launch a protest and demand a fair and balanced investigation, otherwise it would just be another matter for the government to sweep under the rug. i think that besides lenghty prison sentences, monetary fines and retribution to the families need to be strictly imposed. for the most part, those people who died were the main breadwinners in the families. it would be a shame to have their loss of life to not have counted for anything.
