I read that the Mayor of Agadir and the Mayors of Other Cities in Morocco and the Government were talking to the British Company Genesyst Uk Limited about setting up a major inward investment programme to turn Morocco's Waste into the Renewable Transport Fuels BioEthanol for cars and BioButanol for its air line company Royal Air Maroc. This was briefed through the EurActiv and BlogActiv press from the European Union last year, and now it has reached the Ministers of Energy and Environment in the Government of Morocco.
This to me is an exciting and real development for as it develops it will reduce the needs for Morocco to import oil for use in the Country - that is making use of our own waste for fuel - and it will I understand provide many thousands of jobs. It is understood that a delegation from Genesyst UK limited met the mayor of Agadir in October 2011 and that the first project was to be built at the A land of 20 ha at our disposal on the Tamlast site (which is the existing landfill site for Agadir.)It is known that this project has already been sanctioned by Royaume du Maroc, Ministery of the Interior, in the Region of Souss Massa Daraa Wilaya Agadir Idaoutanane Commune of Agadir and the Msr Le President of the area. Part of this one particular business proposal is in the facts now coming to light that it would create 500 jobs in Agadir alone!(We are astounded therefore that we have not heard anything further about this.) We as workers in the area need these jobs.
What is also coming to light in the press leaks is that a similar proposal is on offer for Rabat - where our King Lives - and it would also create over 500 jobs. We now also here that the proposals are for a futher 70 to 120 Communes in Morocco and that when fully implemented the total jobs issue will be over 20,000 more for Morocco.
And this Company has also been proposing the same in Tunisia as well to do exactly the same thing.
My dear Government of Morocco we need to know more about this for when I saw the website of www.genesystuk.com I saw the contacts in the UK and have just sent the people there an email to say thank you and thank you again for this work.

We in Morocco need these entrepreneurs to set up their businesses here and when we see that they have started projects in Holland and now within days Malta and VietNam and Canada we mustnot miss out.

My dear friends in the Government - including the Kinga nd the Minsters we need these jobs urgently and sooner rather than later.
