OMG, I totally relate. Don't they suck ? It's like they think they are betta than everybody. Like they are just the moon, the Sun, and the Stars. When they say "I'm white", they aren't describing some feature; they are stating "I'm betta than everybody, including blacks and Mexicans". They have this air of undeserved authority, just makes u want to smack 'em.I stood up against racism one time and got a shotgun pulled on me, but this ole' girl didn't back down. I've also called out racist pricks who worked in the Department of Corrections. I've lost a couple jobs because of it, but I didn't give a big rat's ass. I knew I was in the right, and they were wrong. I love my black man, and I would stand up and protect him against anything or anybody. Oh, yes, I love Abe Lincoln, too. But, I swear, it seems as if we are going backwards, instead of forwards. If anything, I'm prejudice against my own race. They treat me like shit!
Nader Campaign: 95% of blacks signed petition to put Nader on the ballot for President, during the year of Obama. Whites, on the other hand, were total aholes. It was 50/50 with them. Some were good and decent, and didn't mind taking a second of their time to engage in some democracy, and encourage more participation in the process. Others acted as if they were above me, as if I was some homeless guy panhandling, or something. Like they were saying "I'm white, I dont do things such as democracy; those things are beneath me!" It's ridiculous, but I'm glad it happened. These racists want to tell the black folks how bad they live, but look at Kentucky. Kentucky is the most racist, violent, fattest, sickest, dumbest, poorest state in the Union, and it's 92% white! That's lily white. That's Aryan Nation white. That's a "what in the hell did u evil whites do to your darker skinned brothers and sisters when nobody was watching" white.
But glad somebody out there is like me, in some ways.
Something interesting though, I met a "white woman" who was progressive like us, but I think she really didn't like me because of my skin color, and that's bullshit. Here she's got a good job, and telling me I'm privileged ? How is that I'm privileged, when you're the one whose gettin paid, and I'm interning ? I wish they would have accepted me, but alas, they didn't, and life goes on. At least I know what it's like to be discriminated based on your skin color, and how bad it blows, and that's something black folks have to live on a day to day basis. I was only a minority then. Blacks are always the minority. So I might make sweeping "for all" statements, but it's mostly for these wyte supremacists on here. I don't hate all whites. Most of them, yeah, but not all. Heck, there's you and me, so there's gotta more like us, and when we can organize, that's when youll see change made. Thx for contributing, and dont let these haterz get to ya.
