I am in this exact same position. I endured years of intense domestic emotional and psychological abuse from an ex-boyfriend who is a gaslighting/sociopath and pathological liar with a long documented history of using, abusing and disposing women. The damage he inflicted was so deep that I was no longer able to function in my job, with family or friends. I wish he had beat me physically since unfortunately though society does not take psychological abuse seriously bc you can't see the scars and bruises. He knew he could get away with it and laughed in my face. I didn't want anyone else to have to go through and lose so much due to this monster and tried to expose him also. He filed a police report full of blatant lies in order to get me arrested for a felony to try and silence me. I have no criminal record, am a responsible college graduate, and active volunteer in the community for many local organizations, and also run a bird rescue. My hands are tied and this monster is still out manipulating and using everyone he meets. He has cost me my career, nearly cost me my job and still may with the current pending court case, has drained all my savings I worked so hard to earn with the hours of overtime each week, and attempted to steal my dignity and self worth at any cost. There is no justice for the victims.

I read this on a CBS comment board; (The "judge" AND "District Attorney" should be sexually assaulted with a broomstick and THIS is why it's called the "CRIMINAL justice system" and a perfect example of why the south is embarassing to the rest of the country). I couldn't agree more. Then the "system" doesn't understand why people go vigilante. Sad.

I realy hope you local people remember this come election time & get rid of these "public servants". This is beyond reasonable and the very reason I fully advocate vigilante justice. Keep your mouths shut & do whatcha gotta do 'cause the "system" will NOT do the right thing for you. Everybody IN the system says "well, it may not be the best system but it's the only system we have", yet nothing is ever done to correct the system or the flaws in it. "Judges" and prosecutors have wayyyyy too much flexability and are in office too long. They become power junkies and abuse their office to the tune of racketeering. It needs to stop.
