Hope SHelbyville puts this message down..with a big bitch slap.
You are a complete and total lost cause. Gay pride has not been about just gay people for a very long time, except to bigots who can't learn anything. It's about taking pride in your differences, your unique traits, the parts of you that make you not only who you are, but an asset to the species. The only thing that will make any species strong is difference, if you don't like difference, then become a flat worm and leave humanity to thrive on it's own.

It would be really nice to think that a place like Shelbyville could take advantage of this opportunity to move forward with this as a bright, shinning example. Especially since we have now managed to draw national attention. But, I suppose you can all already tell that by our own mayors comments, that has very little chance of happening. And from being pretty much a lifetime resident, and some of my most recent experiences with comments from fellow residents, the mayor's probably correct. I do have to say though, that the factory I work for here has defanantly been the exception. They have been extremely professional, and accommodating.
If anyone would like to get a better idea of what I'm talking about, feel free to pop over to Shelbyville's forum, and take a look at what we're dealing with. It's not pretty, and frankly, I'm ashamed. Some of the best examples are on the thread I started to gauge Shelbyville's take on the transgender community. Also, look at how they treat our emigrant residents, it'll give you a better idea of where these people's heads are at.

Sex in general is disgusting. You shove your pen*s into a hole. A (the vagina) hole that bleed every month, one that organs can fall out of (vaginal mesh). Then you try the back way were shit comes out of. It's a loose loose situation.
That's my line ....

A "loose loose" situation? Was that a typo or brilliance?

I guess you're right, but we have so many though. It's exactly why I don't have high hopes for this ordinance. That and some blatant discrimination I experienced recently at a local restaurant(Claudia Sanders dinner house) while there with my partner. I don't know if the discrimination was because of me being trans or my partner being Native American, but regardless it was very obvious.

Also, I apologize to most everyone else for my staying on topic.
