for those that take communion at your own convienence and not when commanded, which is the first day of the week...please read Acts 20:7, 1st Corinth 11:17-32, 16:1, 2, Revelation 1:10. So before you take communion on saturday night because its convienient to you, read these verses and REPENT. Godbless...''and the truth shall set you free!''

Read a little closer. It does not say when or how often to partake. The Bible simply says "As often as you do it, do it in remembrance". That could be once a week, once a month, or once a year. Don't get caught up in man-made denominational rituals. That is the sure path to hell.

no no, you read it closer...it says in acts to take it as the disciples on the first day, its right in your face. It doesny say ''as often as you do'' did you even read acts?

That happened to be the day they gathered. It could have been any day. That reference is not a commandment but just a reference to the time it was. The only requirement stated is that when we do partake of communion that we do so remembering Him. And, yes I've read Acts as well as the rest of the Bible through multiple times. It also says do not add to or take away from the Word as you are doing by taking a simple reference to the day of the week they gathered and making it the 11th commandment.

Nothing more of a turn off than to hear a bible toter telling me what to do. Why don't you clean up your church before you try to clean the masses?

There is more corruption in the church than in government. Whether it be Jimmy Swaggert/Jim Baker type behavior, catholic priests praying on young boys or financial improprieties the church is corrupt.

So clean up you own house before you tell me how dirty mine is.

And yes, I am a believer but I am not a blind follower.

Being a conservative, I have seen the religious right grouped in my area of beliefs. Although I may not be as vocal as you that does not mean I do not practice.

Your remark about convenience is a farce. I am not a follower as you believing whatever you are told by people suspect or out for personal gain.

Naive, foolish people follow empty souls in search of hope.

Just go to church. He welcomes you seven days a week. The decision that church was to be held on Sunday is a man made decision. I don't recall God giving out a calendar with which days of the week to do what. Even Christmas Day is not exact it's just a good guess of when he was born. That needs to be celebrated as his birth. Not a day of greedy shopping trophies.

Just go to church celebrate and learn. Not to judge that's not your job.

Haters of truth, know the truth and it will set you free. You claim to be of god? But your not vocal about it? Like he tells you you should be? Shame on you. Preach the gospel everywhere you go. He is near, even at the door.

so the disciples broke bread with christ on the first day, years later paul also did it. The bible also refrences it in my above passage posts, but yet you think we can just do it at our convinience? Thats your logic and your sticking with it? Roll the dice baby....roll the dice.

Maybe I just want to live like Jesus he surrounded him self with sinners. If we only surround our self with those without sin all are doing Is lying to ourselves. If you are truly perfect maybe you can judge us. Perhaps if you call the church they might have you give the sermon Saturday. You could save the sinners that go to Church. God still loves even though your actions make it difficult for every one else too.

Isnt it in the 10 commandments to keep the sabbath holy, and that would be the 7th day.I do agree it is sad how man has turned Christmas into a frenzied free for all to buy 'stuff'.JMHO

Oh, if you live in america thats all your around is sinners, you have completed your mission. Im not judging you, im telling you what scripture says so we as christians can help hold each other accountable so that we may be counted worthy, you will be judged by god, according to his word, not me..set aside your arrogance and your selfishness, quit hating the truth, cause i know you dont like to hear it, i was you once. Im a sinner just like you, my job is to deliver the message and to help hold you up, not judge you or save you.
