I won't say I told people so, when the Governor and Jack Conway lambasted Doctors over prescription pain killers. I said Kentucky would get an influx of heroin and other illegal substances more deadly than pain pills, that would destroy families and kill more than lortab and oxycodone. Mr. Governor, can you and Jack stop this new and more powerful scourge? You stoppped many needing pain meds from getting them. And those that still can spend a fortune driving to pain clinics. Thank you for ensuring heroin got a firm hold on Kentuckians.

You're absolutely right. Heroin should be illegal.

the mad rush by law enforcement and the multiple task forces to put pressure on physicians in order to curb prescription drug use in kentucky has lowered supply and thus driven up demand/price...making heroin cheaper than oxy (for example)

they are more are more law abiding citizens turning to the streets to get prescription drugs that used to be available from their doctor.

the more laws restricting a product, the bigger the black market. lawmakers should be required to take history classes cause anyone who paid attention in 8th grade history can tell you that prohibition has never and will never work. making something illegal has no effect whatsoever on how many do it, only how they go about doing it.
