this goes to show that being a part of the "clique" gets you a lesser charge. he fled the sceen and everyone looked the other way. i say a bunch of us call wave 3's troubleshooter eric flack. he will expose the county for what it really is.

This is not about being Hateful,As for me I know both family's .It is about a young man who lost his life...To someone that cannot stop drinking and driving. But put aside that even if he was not drunk ,He still left the scene. And the charges was DUI, and manslaughter in the 2 nd decree .So that been said ,were are the charges for leavening ? Because he has bad a choice to drive sober or not, he still left this young man alone to die. I don't care what anybody says you bury you child to neglect ,and then let's see how you feel . He should have stayed in jail !,,, bottom line by not getting him help ( He Killed Him ) plain and simple. And by the way am fine with the golden gates. But the fact is our system is Broke !!!!!!
From what I understand he was not being charged with leaving the scene as a condition for turning himself in.

Ok it was an accident because he didn't kill him on purpose you idiot, it was unintentional look at the charges, ur gonna say u haven't made mistakes or had an accident I didn't think so, therefore ur point is invalid
But he had an accident while committing a crime. That makes it different. If he wasn't commenting a crime that takes away your ability to safely operate a motor vehicle, this most likely would have not happened. DUI is a crime for a reason. There is no accident involved here, your just taking up for someone that did wrong.

Please look up on topix in Danville about the hit and run that killed a woman. He hit her and did not render aid either. Very informative.

I just want to say that Judge Chandler, Clay Cable, David Willhoite, Nick Marsh and Jim Crawford do not make the laws and statues, they only enforce and abide by them, nor do they run Congress in Kentucky, so if you feel it should change, you need to start with your senators and other representative that you voted into office in Frankfort.

Remember you are all being watched. God bless your souls, bless your loud mouths,I hope your rumors don't make it past this stupid website and I hope your families are healthy.... because some of you, some of you are just being awful. Some of you probably have no connection to either party in this accident and are putting your opinions in where it's not needed anyways.... have a nice day and when you get to the golden gates, may god forgive you for being so hateful.
. "Please", i wonder how forgiving you would be if it were your son that was left to die alone in a ditch? I don 't you would crying crocodile tears for this little spoiled, irresponsible punk that CHOSE to get behind the wheel after he had been drinking. A lot of you bleeding hearts are full of compassion till it's YOUR kids life that gets snuffed out by some selfish little turd like Mr Willhoite. Well "Please", I'll save my tears for the victims like Michael Beach, who didn't deserve to die alone in a ditch. He always seemed like a good kid and I will miss him every time I happen to be Kroger. Mr Willhoite, on your 28 birthday when you are having fun ( assuming you'll never see jail) you need to think about the sunsets that Michael will never get to see, the women that he won't have the pleasure of spending time with, the sunsets that you cheated him out of and the 28th birthday he'll never have thanks to you. To the family of Michael, I send out my deepest sympathies, and to Michael, RIP, man.

What happened to the post with the state attorney contact information ???? It was deleted by someone who know that almost everything being said about the corruption in Carroll County is true !!! Do they think the information can not be found , or people are dont know who to contact !!! All you have to do is contact the state attorney general's office . Very small minded people in this town !!! More than likely it was one of the elected officials who had it removed !!

"Call Me Crazy", all the above you mentioned may not make the laws but they damn sure have leeway as to how the law is dispensed. And if it was someone whom wasn't part of the upper crust around here I'll bet their kid wouldn't be out on 5k bond for DUI and vehicular manslaughter. Someone who doesn't know any of these local "string pullers" needs to be the one investigating this and any trial related to this needs to be far away from Carroll Co. so no "favors" are done !
I doubt that Michael Beach's family has the money to get a real, fair, just trial in Carroll Co..
And "Call Me Crazy", if you think that I am implying that there might be some crooked sweeping sh!t under the rug. Well I'm not implying it, i 'm saying I would bet my next pay check against it !

It hasn't even been long since James "Nathan" was busted for his first DUI. The date for the first one was July 28, 2013. That didn't teach him anything. I wonder if killing someone will actually teach him a much needed lesson. Allowing him to get out of jail so fast is not going to teach him anything either. It makes it as though it never happened. It did happen and now many people are suffering because he did not learn from his stupidity the first time. The start of showing remorse would have been him refusing to be let out of jail on bond, but no he didn't put up a fight on that obviously because he got out. This is all so horrible for Michael's family.

To those that have been talking about the charges against Mr. Wilhoite let me provide some insight into police investigations. I am a former police officer that understands the system. On the night of the accident the police had to make a determination based on preliminary information on what to charge him with. The facts of the incident had not been established yet.(It takes follow up, interviews and a evaluation of the evidence before final charges are levied). There is still a possibility that leaving the scene of an accident and / or failing to stop and render aid could be faced by Mr. Willhoite. Also, the death related charge could be elevated to murder or lowered to reckless homicide. It takes a complete investigation and a determination on what you can prove in a court of law. Remember, 12 people all have to be convinced " beyond a reasonable doubt" as to the guilt of someone. Let the state police have time to complete their investigation and then if you are not happy, complain away.
