well since noone has givin a straight answer to this question yet, allow me to be the first.
in the warped and distoted mind of the typical sponge head (black) YES you would be the biggest racist this side of the clouds, buuuuuuut in reality you are NOT a racist in any form.....you see putting the word WHITE in front of anything is indeed racist in their little tiny pubic covered empty brains ,however you replace that word with BLACK .and all of a sudden its perfectly alright nobody bats an eye.THAT IS WHY RACISM WILL ALWAYS BE AROUND....

every pageant besides one usually only has one or two black women in participation.
there are thousands of magazines created for white enterprize,
if there was a channel called white starz (every channel but about 5 nationally)

Why are you upset because black people feel the need to (as you do) have programs, magazines, and resources that are directed toward their interests?

The mainstream stuff is cool, but they aren't created with black people in mind. The products aren't marketed towards blacks, the commercials probably don't have the minority community in mind.

So..if a few enterprising people of color decide to market to other people of color...why are you tripping?

Black people make up less than 15% of the total population...why would these four institutions bother you so much you felt you needed to write a column about it?

If you are asking if there are scholarships targeted specifically to whites, yes. For instance, a scholarship might be granted by an Irish heritage group to a student with an Irish ancestry (although of course, you can be of part Irish ancestry and not be white).

That's one example. Others might be a scholarship granted only to a resident of a particular county; if the county is all-white, then obviously the recipient will be white.(A county Chamber of Commerce or Rotary Club might sponsor something like this).

In general, "legacy" scholarships HUGELY favor whites. A legacy scholarship is one a college gives to the children or grandchildren of alumni. Since most colleges kept most non-whites out until the late 1960s, legacy scholarships tend to go to the children and grandchildren of whites, and those children and grandchildren are generally white, too.

(The obvious exception here being the nine "traditionally black" colleges in the South, where the alumni were all black due to legally-enforced segregation. Their "legacy" scholarships will go to black or biracial students.)

Some schools still have virtually no black alumni, or only tiny percentages of black alumni -- like Bob Jones University. There, again, "legacy" scholarships will almost always wind up going to whites only.

If you are looking for a scholarship targeted to your ethnic heritage or to your county, ask your school's college counselor for help. If there is no such person, or if they don't help you enough, ask your public library's reference librarian for help. Of course, you can also search online via www.google.com or a similar search engine.

America has given one simple answer to many questions raised over the years. If you did some type of research my friend before you spoke or missed quoted some one else. Euro-American's seperated races for personal and selfish gains (read your history books) the Affrican Americans are only playing with the hand they were delt.We were told we could not go to the ivey league schools, so we started our own with our own fund( A MIND IS A TERRIBLE THING TO WASTE). We could not be in the peagents so we started our own, could not be equal with the other bussiness partners so BE, BET, JET, EBONY AND ESSENNCE were birthed.The only reason why MTV. VH1 ....started to show black shows because it made them money.The o'doller breaks color barriers my friend. Its not because you like us that we are on your channels. you helped promote the above so what does that make you. When your color blind it would not matter what chanel played what.
