Homosexuality is not who you are. It's like an action; it's who you choose to be and it's immoral and (may not be true) has been linked to AIDS and HIV which has killed thousand (or millions I'm not sure)

The person who you replied to hasn't been on in a long time. I've known gays and lesbians, and they didn't "choose" to be like that. Anybody can get the HIV virus or AIDS,not just gays.

I will not name names on this forum, but I will say this. Homosexuality is NOT a choice. Do you think that all the gay people in the world would choose to be gay? Do the ones in here that is not gay or do not have friends that are gay, realize the hard life they have to live, just because they love someone of the same-sex? If people would do their research and realize that it's already been proven a few years back, that being gay is not a choice. It's linked to a chromosomal shift, that happens in the Mother's womb. Look it up guy and gals. Some of you here may think differently, but the facts are the facts. I am sure this conversation will last forever because of people that don't know what they are talking about. It's like continuing to kick a dead horse, so to speak. It's 2013 people, let's get a little more educated on all situations surrounding us in the world today. Speculations just aren't going to work these days.

I totally agree, but sometimes ignorance and bigotry keep people from moving forward.

Gay Rights is our Generation's Civil Rights. Plus, they're just nicer people than 95% of the men around here anyways.

You are an idiot. People are born Gay. Even if it was a choice, it is their choice to make and there is nothing wrong with it. If guys want to see guys, or girls want to see girls, there is nothing wrong with doing what makes you happy.

being gay halts procreation and leaves imbalance in family. As human beings we have a responsability to maintain a certain order for life and we each have certain jobs we are cut out for. Technology and ease of life has blurred these realizations to where girls no longer need men to survive, and men no longer need children to help the family. Being gay is a perversion and upsets a natural balance. It is true we are free to choose and thats fine...but spiritual consequences could be dire. There must be a guideline for life, if we are free to do what ever makes us feel good, where do we draw the line? Whos to say any of us can deem whats right or wrong? What about Beastiality? Pedophillia? Serial killers feel good when torturing, is that ok? This is the problem of special interests, tpin reality there is no boundry. However, God...our creator has given us boundries we must follow, and free will to choose to follow them, so far we have not and look at the state of the world. Onmthe surface homosexuality may seem harmless, but thats the allure of Satan.

I believe in whatever floats your boat.just keep it behind closed doors However it clearly states man shall not lay with man in the bible so that is between you and GOD. I don't understand how a priest can find a loophole around that and marry two men. Signs of the times. But I will not step foot in a church that marries gays. The priest has doomed the whole church .

It's supposed to be a free country, and consenting adults should be allowed to do whatever they want to do w/ each other. Plus the world needs more love.

I have to say it doesn't matter what religion he is, but I would guess he is Catholic, just as you asked. If he answers yes or no, it's going to be a whatever to me. Not going into a church were a priest marries two me, as the church would be doomed afterwards? WOW!! Oh well, there we have it folks, another narrow-minded person that wants to preach the Bible to us all, just so he doesn't have to accept that fact that love is love, and that being gay is not a choice. He needs to look that up before posting ridiculous comments like that. I don't get it. Why is everyone saying it's a choice when it's clearly been proven not to be the fact. People need to know the facts before judging others. The need to judge themselves for what they are saying. The Bible also states that we should not judge others, as that is a sin as well, so I guess in this guys opinion we are going to h*ll, but in fact, he will be coming right along with us.

The reason I asked is my next question was going to be if he would go in a church with an altar made of hewn stone. Or if he would go in a church who prays to marry. Or maybe why go in a church where bishops are forbidden to marry?
Just going to point out some hypocrisy.

Well you gays and lesbians have won a great victory. Women will now be allowed in front line combat units.

When the U.S. gets in a real war and they start drafting people, guess who is going to get drafted ??????
