Well... let me begin. Kentucky is Overwhelmingly Democratic. 8 solid reasons why Kentucky is putty in the palm of Ashley Judd's hand:

1-Ashley Judd, in early 2013, polled 40% to McConnell's 49%, before she entered the 2016 Senate race.

2-Kentucky voted for Jimmy Carter in 1976, and Bill Clinton in 1992 and 1996.

3-More Kentuckians voted for Democrats Daniel Mongiardo and Jack Conway than they voted for Republican Rand Paul in Kentucky's primaries in 2010.

4-Kentucky's current Governor is a Democrat.

5-Kentucky's 8 of the last 9 Governors have been Democrats, including Martha Collins, Kentucky's first female Governor.

6-Kentucky's 34 of the last 43 Governors have been Democrats; 8 were Republicans, and; 1 was a Know-Nothing.

7-McConnell barely won his Senate seat in 2008, 53% to 47%, against Bruce Lunsford.

8-Registered Democrats in Kentucky outnumber Registered Republicans by nearly a 2-to-1 margin.

True... did u see that one cartoon strip where McConnell's a Wildcat cheerleader, and the caption says, "I think this has something to do w/ Ashley Judd"? When's Mitch ever been to a sport'n event?

And he's been in there for 30 years... these career politicians get in there, and the perennial poverty continues. It's time to ditch mitch the beotch. Also, fk Rand too, for join'n in on the attacks...

I have seen McConnell at many UofL games. He graduated from UofL and is a big fan.

As for Judd being more of a Ky than McConnell, lets first remember that she is a TN resident, not a Kentuckian.

Second she is a big supporter of Obama. Even calls herself a big time liberal. Kentuckians are generally conservative and tend to vote that way. Obamacare, gun control, increased regulation are all things she thinks should happen.

I must admit she is easy on the eyes but that is not going to get my vote. Grow up people, she is not qualified and we'd look more stupid that MN electing Al Franken.

Considering Obama runs the Federal govt, and Mitch's "one term plan" failed miserably, it's time to get some folks that'll actually work w/ Obama and the Democrats... since they're the ones w/ all the money. What's that Anarchist doing? What's that W. Bush butt boy done? Seems like lots of folks play'n games w/ Ky's future... does Rand Paul want poor Kyians to starve to death? How many bills has Rand passed again?

And Mitch McConnell is Ky's Mubarak. He's been in there for 3 decades, poverty, and all the rest of Ky's problems http://www.topix.com/forum/louisville/T86R0QE... have been here perennially... Mitch is good at keep'n and maintain'n the problems of the State, that's what he's good at. He's good at be'n a shrewd backstabb'n betray'n politician, that's what he's good at. He's good at laugh'n at Obama, not work'n w/ him. He's good at jeopardiz'n Ky's future... since Ky's got so many Republican representatives... whose going to be bring'n home the bacon? Whose going to bring'n home the pork, and pet public works projects and stimulus dollars? You'll say that stuff doesn't matter... but I'm sure Mitch'll brag about all the earmark'd projects he's brought into Ky... even though all of it has his name on it...

Ashley Judd would be the greatest US Senator we've ever had. And even if she gets in there, and can't pass a single bill, then she'll be tied w/ Rand Paul's success. She's popular, she's a woman, the Republicans won't know how to attack her w/o look'n anti-woman, which seems to be the case... GOP is definitely scared if they're throw'n jabs at a private citizen, who, as they claim, doesn't even live in Kentucky. If she's so bad, then why all the negative ads? Worried much?

Even Mongiardo said that Ashley not be'n in the pocket of King Coal would work against her, but new poll has come out, and most Appalachians, 57%, are against Mountain Top Removal... she's very much Kentucky... but you know who aint? That Pennsylvanian Texan... Rand Paul. He's only 2/5 of a Kentuckian, since 20 of his 50 years has been here in the Bluegrass... http://grist.org/coal/2011-08-16-mountaintop-...

Hey Masters. Tell us what Obama has done for you in four years. How much better off are you?

Are you making more $?
Are you living in a better home?
Are you eating better?
Do you drive a better car?
Do you have health insurance?
Do you have more savings than you did four years ago?
How is your retirement planning going?

Im for Rand and Ron Paul, its the only way were going to restore true freedom, but you sheeple beg for more control, you love the freebies...so much so you would gladly give your very soul to have it...and you very much will give it up one day soon.

Yes, life is much better under Obama. Of course it is. Now it looks like there's hope.

I'd rather be for food for the poor (didn't somebody make enuf bread for the whole crowd of starving... who was that? Come on Revelations... I'm sure you know this...JC was his initials...), than for the poor to starve to death. We're the richest country in the world... how come we got such an abundance of poverty? It has nothing to do with freebies for me, but for freebies for my people. With Socialism, when the Workers Control the Means of Production (mean'n we control the factories and farms), our freedoms increase, not decrease. Equal opportunity, equal access, not equal conditions, that's what I'm for. Guarantee life, and we'll compete for the rest...

Rand Paul wants to get rid of the Department of Education. wtf? Is that the direction we're going? More austerity? Didnt u guys lose this last election? Is it really fair, for the US govt to b a govt of Socialism for the Rich? The Uber-rich understand this class war, and hate it when other folks understand it too... why yall voluntarily put ur bodies on the line for the rich? None of them r gonna make it to heaven, unless they figured out how to squeeze a camel thru the eye of a needle!

So what if he wants to get rid of the Department of Education? It's a failure! It was created under Jimmy Carter's Administration. People think it's been around forever. Not so, only since the 1970's. We were once the envy of the world for people to come here for their education. Now we rank 25th or something! That's what happens when BIG BROTHER aka the US government gets involved! The education system should be turned over to the states. They know better what's best for their people. We once had great doctors that found cures and vaccines, engineers that built skyscrapers, famous inventors, and astronauts that went to the moon. All succeeded without the Department of Education. Ever since the DOE has been created, high school graduates can't even pass the ACT or either have to take remedial classes when they go to college.(Please don't write back and say it's the teachers fault.) If that were the case, why wasn't it the teachers fault before the creation of the DOE?) Granted, there are some lazy teachers, but that has always been the case. Nothing new here.

The department of education has proven time and again it is ineffective. Education has fallen drastically in this country for the last thirty years and you can trace it back to this government agency. We spend more on students than ever before yet results continue to decline. Education should be run by the states. Where is your sense of independence. You want all decisions made for you.

The teachers union shares equal blame.

We should get rid of the department of energy too. Less government means more power for the people

That's wrong. If the "States" are running education, how is that "less" govt? It's still the same school building... and you're suggesting put'n education in KY's hands? Yeah, since that's worked out so well. Let's see here... Kentucky is consistently ranked dumbest state in America, or battl'n it out w/ Mississippi! Did u hear that!?! I just compared Kentucky.... to Mississippi! Bahahaha!

ALSO, Louisville can't even graduate 60% of their graduates... this is because of the Department of Education? The Dept of Education has sent many kids to college... plus Dept of Agriculture (another Dept Rand hates) is feed'n our children at the schools. Over 50% of Ky's kids are on free and reduced lunch... esp in poor white and black neighborhoods in Da Ville. Over 50%! Cut out Dept of Ed adn Dept of Agriculture... the kids won't be eat'n breakfast or lunch... nor will their working class parents b tak'n them to school, since there won't be one... I guess parents would actually have to parents now!

Also, 40% of Ky can't read. That's 2 outta 5. 2 outta 5 of yall can't read. 2 outta 5 of yall have no idea that I'm call'n u an ingrate illiterate dmfk polly want a cracker, et a dk beotch fggt. Maybe somebody will read that to you, to let you know what I think about you.

Mexico provides free college... they tried to put small fees on college education, and Mexicans flipped out, protest'd riot'd in the street. Meanwhile, CPE of Kentucky raised tuition up 6% every year, w/o even a murmur of protest from supposedly liberty lov'n Americans. Like 80 countries around the world provides free college... we are try'n to progress here.... or they are. We aren't.

There's free colllege, in Mexico! If Mexico can do it, why can't Kentucky?

Teacher's Unions will be the redemption of Teachers, if they actually show some Solidarity. The Students should have a Union too... and an Advocate, and a vote on School Board. Everybody talks about Education, but seems nobody actually asked the kids about it... seems like it's just a conversation for adults. Working class folks need to stick together.

A scientific breakthrough happens from 1 outta 10,000 folks... at the rate of education Ky has, we're going to get dummer and dummer... Ky's a fail'n civilization anyways... It's a surprise any of us make it out alive... Charlie Manson came outta Ky... that's what the product of no education looks like. Charlie Mansons Uncle Jesse said to lil formative Charlie: "We aint goin to no Yankee schools. We're still Rebels boy." So Charlie did what was obvious, and blew the school up. Then the cops heard about Uncle Jesse's moonshine still, and Uncle Jesse blew it up, along w/ himself.

I agree, there's many problems w/ "education"... since they aren't teach'n us, but we're not be'n educated, b/c we aren't choos'n our own curriculum. When you decide for yourself what you want to learn, you care so much more. And since we gotta make money in this country or we starve to death, I bet the students will work on those professions they want to work in... but teachers are Fascists... they only care about their power, instead of real education... they don't ask us what we want, instead, just dictate policy to us, like how the State Govt is going to dictate to JCPS... but I bet they wont like it when it happens to them! Education can be fixed, but rely'n on Frankfort or Louisville to provide the necessary funds, that's not going to cut it. That state and that city both has dismal and abysmal stats in education... we should just give the tax money directly to the students. Sugata Mitra showed how teachers, or really any authority figure, gets in the way of real education.

So Masters can't respond to the question. Why?

Because he is worse off than 4 years ago. I can't blame Obama for Masters failure as he'd fail even if all of his "big governement" dreams came true. What Johnny wants is equality of outcome not equality of opportunity. Opportunity is abundant in this country. Those that claim it is not need to look no further than at themselves and the choices they've made. Masters has a degree but stated a history degree was was worthless. I and many others believe differently. Get off the drugs, get along with others and give a decent effort. Those like Johnny that think that successful people came at the expense of the poor are making excuses for their poor decisions. Life is what you make of it.

For example, you want an actress to be a Senator. Time to step up and take responsibility Masters.

I can't really answer any of it because I've never worked a day in my life, so I have no point of reference. My moms pays all my bills and buys my pot for me. she even got me this cool shower cap.
