Read up on Heroin, the countries making it are #1 Afghanistan, and Asia and South American countries. Mexico likes to stick to the Marijuana, their smart. But seriously, its coming in from the locals which would be your neighbors, so report the idiots,or tell someone who will, everyone probably knows these dealers. And all you need to do is follow the users around they will lead you to the small dealers, then follow them around and you with eventually get the big guys. But they are going to your bigger cities to by, for example Cincinnati and Louisville. I hope Carrollton gets smart and figures out a way to fix the problem. This town is depressing, no jobs, bring in more jobs so these people can do better, no jobs means, these people turn to something else.....

It may be manufactured outside of Mexico for the most part, but otherwise you are wrong.

The distribution path of heroin in the US is across the border to Minneapolis, then Chicago, then Indianapolis / Cincy / Louisville, then from there into smaller communities. Mirrors EXACTLY the travel pattern of a majority of illegal immigrants into the US. Wave3 troubleshooter Eric Flack did a story on it recently.

I listened to a program on NPR about the massive amounts of drugs coming into the states, and the spokesperson said as long as the Americans keep craving the heroin and cocaine, the cartels will stay in business. And its quite obvious, that many in this country crave those 2 drugs that are a major problem in this country.

Mexican cartels are murdering each other in Mexico because of America's insatiable appetite for drugs. The US govt sends money to Colombia, and other countries, to fight a war on drugs too, while, at the same time, Americans are the highest purchasers of their national product.

The best way to educate others about the effects of heroin is a picture of the effects. Just like the picture of a methhead... their face has boils, or scratches...

Supply side war on drugs has failed. Demand side war on drugs needs to start. Why shouldn't you use heroin or meth? Because it's stupid to do so.

Not really. Our govt hasn't really put the full force of their capabilities toward controlling the borders, which is how it gets here. We have put the manpower in foreign lands, while allowing poison to be trafficked in to poison our kids. Gross dereliction of duty, IMO.

Really interesting comments, I've lived on both sides of the border, and I can tell you for a fact, that the Mexican cartels do not like dealing with Heroin, they easily can and will transport marijuana across but the South American countries are the ones pushing it. For example Columbia, Cuba. And seriously, for the person wondering how a Mexican drives a nice new truck, let me explain it to you, they work their butt off for it, they save every extra penny they have and pay for it. They do without things that most wouldnt in this country. And rarely will you ever see a Mexican who does drugs. They like to drink socially, but no drugs. Now, all the users and dealers I've came across are usually white, or other races. I'll keep my eyes open for everyone, and will gladly turn in the next dealer I see, because this town seems to be to chicken to do anything about it. Lock these pathetic people up, all of them the users and the pushers please, clean this town up.

The Cartels are no different then the Gangs in this county, same motives, same game. There's always people helping them, somewhere along the line that has pull. Do you really think all these drugs are coming across by just the Mexicans?????That's funny S%$#, its fascinating stuff really, because they are all a nervous wreck looking over their shoulders. People are being paid, and people are getting paid. And then you have the users, who are paying for all of it, true story.

Really? You think the War on Drugs... since 1917... the nearly 100 year old War on Drugs has gotten rid of the drugs? Really? Where do you live?#1 cash crop in Kentucky... marijunana. There's a reason we got the term pilbillies... Bluegrass is what we bleed, and it also happens to be what we need.

And the racist comments... that's really what it's about. Whites need a scapegoat. Whites are 4 times more likely to be on drugs, but quickly blame it on the blacks or browns... there's some Mexicans in Carroll County... they do the hard agricultural work, for cheap, because whites don't want to do that type of work. Whites are more part-timers than anything.

Somebody said the pipeline started in Chicago... and doesn't all of this stuff have to have an origin? It comes from Afghanistan? And isn't Oxycontin called Hillbilly Heroin? How come these "legal" drugs don't get the same treatment?

Think about this. I heard you have a beer in your house. You have alcohol, and I believe that alcohol is a sin, so I will break into your house, take your bottle of bud light, and then throw you in prison, to get raped by Michael Humphrey... w/ that pedophile mustache... you know he's gett'n off to molesting these poor, ugly, heroin nobody addicts, because he knows nobody will stand up to him, on their behalf... does that seem right to you? Then I will blackball you, and make sure nobody hires you in town, after you served your time in prison, for 5 years... so for 5 years, because you had a budlight in your refrigerator, you've been making friends with all of these undesirables... then you get out... you've helped this person? Did you save the community from the menace that bud light drinkers commit? What good did you do?

Instead of ruining that man's life, because you are overly concerned with his private drinking habits, instead, if you're being serious about fixing problems, in a human way, not a psychopathic unempathetic way, then why don't you have a dinner party with that man? Include him into your lives, as if he's a person who matters... instead of discarding him in the sewers of a failed and broken judicial system.

Be more like Jesus. Be nice to people. Shyt

Jonathan M,this is one of the most informative posts I've seen you write on here, because every word you wrote was spot on....and "Mexican american",I have seen news stories where Mexicans have been arrested for being part of a network transporting drugs..and one of those was local.

I destroy homes and tear families apart, I’ll take your children and that's just the start. More costly than diamonds, more costly than gold, the sorrow I’ll bring is a sight to behold, if you need me remember I'm easily found, I live all around in your schools in your town, I live with the rich I live with the poor I live down the street and maybe next door, my power is awesome try me you’......ll see, but be warned if you do you'll never break free, try me once and I might let you go, try me twice an i’ll own your soul, when I possess you you'll steal & lie and do what you must just to get high, crimes you'll commit for the narcotic charms, you’ll lie to your mother and steal from your dad, you’ll see their tears but wont feel sad, you'll forget your morals and how you were raised, I’ll be your conscience, I’ll teach u my ways, I’ll take kids from their parents and parents from kids, turn people from God heaven forbid, I’ll take everything from you your looks and your pride, I’ll be with you always right by your side, you'll give up everything your family your home, your friends your money you'll be all alone, I’ll take & take ‘till you have nothing more and when I'm finished you'll be lucky to live, if u try me be warned this isn’t a game, given the chance I’ll drive u insane, I’ll ravish your body and control your mind, I’ll own you completely your soul will be mine, nightmares I’ll give as you lay in your bed, voices you'll hear from inside your head, sweats & shakes bad visions you'll see, I want you to know these are all gifts from me, and when it’s too late you’ll know that your mine, you'll regret that you tried me that very first time, you came to me and not I to you, you knew this would happen, surely not to you? You challenged my power, you chose to be brave, you could’ve said no and just walked away, if you could live that day over what would u say? Can i be your master will you be my slave? I promise i’ll stay with you and on to your grave.

So now that you’ve have met me what will u do? Will u try me or not? It’s all up to you, I’ll bring you more misery than words can ever tell, come take my hand......I’ll lead you through hell. so true

I challenge you to sit around our point park or court square and see what colorS the drug users are......they are all colors stupid ass! Trashing white people? I don't get it. Who's blaming it on only blacks and Mexicans? I hear every color having problems. Lets not single anyone out. It's an epidemic hurting everyone. Snap out of the stupid and focus on the truths, or your just a trouble maker stirring up more hate.
