I heard tonight that someone in Ghent overdosed on heroin. I think that the group that Jessica has started is amazing.

The local gov makes too much money to stop the drugs. I have seen a REAL drug dealer that got cuaght up in ohio with 20 pound of heroin. Did he go to prison? Hell no! The cops turned him loose in Carrollton to set people up. He slung pounds and pounds of Coke in that town and then went around busting people for one or two pain pills LMAO! He is still free. Seems to me he victimized his victims twice. And what good did it do. Zero. Carroll county is all about making money off this epidimic. Wake up idiots.

Just a coincidence that the heroin supply blew up along with Mexican restaurants. We appreciate your business!

The Problem with the drugs, Goes a lot deeper then any of us can understand. First off when the ones are using knows even when and (If) they get caught they know they will not be in there very long. The so called system that we have is made up for the ones who break the law do the drugs , Steal ,Sell just to make that all mighty buck..They know they can go in front of the judge say I have no money get a free lawyer. Then they go back to court two or three times, Then get on probation ! The problem with this is they know 90 per cent of the time no body is watching them. Once in awhile our town gets in a drug busting mood and then go after a few small fries. But even then the cycle goes around again. Probation again..........Read the papers read the names ,The same over and over again. Until we as a whole stand up and say we are not going to take it anymore,It will never stop. The problem is with our system .From the Judges to the probation officers ,If they are over worked hire more people.Make the ones who get into trouble pay there own Lawyers. This town has a lot of cleaning up to do.Put these people out there to pay there way while there in jail.Make it where when the time comes and they get put in jail they get out on the streets and pay back everything they got for free ,because they got into trouble.I bet if they did not get a free ride they would think twice before they sold drugs to our children. We have made it to easy for them.I heard it said they have rights, What about the rights of the children they are killing? Where are there rights? The laws are for the ones who get into trouble ,Not for the ones who obey the Laws. I read we're someone said jail is not the answer......Sure it is,It just has to be done right.Stop letting them get a free Ride.
Its sad

Unfortunately, it's not just a local problem. It's a national epidemic. The drug problem is just way out of control.

I have info on a heroin distributor, but unless I get 100 k I'm not saying Jack. A friend of mine was an addict and asked me to pick him up from there one day, said he just restocked. Smh. I hate heroin.
If you have reliable info and you don't share it with law enforcement, you're as guilty as the dealer. Keep that in mind in case someone you know and love dies or gets super-F'd up from it. You might as well be holding the needle.

And if you expect $100K for what you know, you're a "info-whore" too. You'd not get that kind of money for finding the remains of Jimmy Hoffa or the Lindbergh baby.

Johnathan Masters, just because you have not heard of this issue does not mean it doesn't exist. I have seen plenty to be worried about. It is so readily available and cheaper than meth so it is becoming the preferred drug. You've got to look at evidence and ask around before you toot that bs horn. You made yourself look ignorant.

They should make them work there way out of jail there are plenty of yards that need mowed there are a few cemeterys in the county you wanna do drugs or u want out of jail do so many hours community service to get out on top of your sentence. The people can talk and have all the meetings they want but if the police / judge / city council doesn't wanna do anything then nothing will be done I say everyone should get together for a city council meeting they are open to the public let's get something done I wish everyone luck

A few years back cops went on a crusade against prescription drugs. Good job. Don't ever remember anyone Oding on em. Imo, cracking down on pills has caused the herion problom. And no matter how many meetings, no matter how many people die, you can't stop the H. Only real way to stop it is shut down the southern border. Comes from Mexico.

The community as a whole can do a lot of damage to this epidemic,IT IS time we take back our community and fight for our children sake and for the children who have no one to fight for them so lets as a community get off our a22es and get together and do something about it. Everyone wants to set around and complain but yet sit idle. I don't know about all of you on here but let me see a dealer anywhere in my community selling drugs and I promise you it will not be a good day,and if I ever see anyone trying to sell to any kid not just my kids outcome will be the same.a community of 11000 and a little over 100 showed not great but a good start.just remember ROME was not built in a day.
