Perhaps it would help if the Law Enforcement would offer a large reward for the bigger dealer. I keep seeing people busted for 2 grams of ( H ). They get out of jail quickly and get busted over and over. If they have 2 grams, someone else must have much more.

Be part of KY history and help battle the heroin epidemic. Kentucky government will be discussing medical marijuana during the August 21st Health and Welfare Committee meeting in Frankfort. It will be held at the Capitol Annex building in room 129.
Irvin Rosenfeld, a FEDERAL MEDICAL MARIJUANA PATIENT, will be there to speak on our behalf. In the last poll taken, 78% of Kentuckians feel that medical marijuana should be legal! Please come help us persuade our legislators to allow patients safe access to medical marijuana for the citizens of Kentucky! Dr. Sanjay Gupta recently said he is in favor of medical marijuana and that it is hypocritical of our government to hold a patent on marijuana having medicinal properties while stating that it has no medicinal properties. You can see his statement on CNN.com .
The meeting will be starting at 12 pm(noon) EDT, but I would recommend trying to arrive at least 1 hour early due to the amount of people that will be in the building.
Following the formal meeting we will move the discussion to the capital steps and have a rally at the capital.
Please come out and show your support for medical marijuana.

Fix the economy, fix the drug problem... well, fixing the economy, that would require empathy, so we all know that's not going to happen.

Yall a bunch of sick psychopaths. Remember Prohibition? Did making alcohol legal increase or decrease the crime? And do yall know economics? What happens to the price of a good when you make it illegal? The war on drugs is creating most of the problems in our society. It's ludicrous, nobody believes you people because of it... Obama smoked pot, so did Bill Clinton, W. Bush is snorting cocaine... since 1992, POTUS has been a pot-addled, coke-binged, alcoholic... and alcohol being the worst of those drugs. Yall lied about marijuana, how can we trust yall about anything else? No... yall making this crap up. Yall dont see any heroin... you just afraid of the boogieman... if you're being serious about getting heroin off of the streets, then you figure out why people on heroin are doing it, and then stop it's causes. Throwing more people in prison, well that's bad for them, and us, because that costs us money to make sure an abled body person does nothing with themselves, except take our money for a complete socialistic utopia... besides the rapes and lack of freedom. If we're being serious about solving the heroin "epidemic". People get on heroin because their lives are miserable, and they have no hope... give them hope... help their lives out... do not give handouts... give jobs... good jobs... good jobs, where people are happy... 80% of American workforce have "checked out"... this is bad for everybody. It's bad workers, and it's bad work... come on now. Be serious. You cannot understand how a better economy would make the heroin problem better? Make better educated people, whose got a chance to do well... I wonder how many of these heroin addicts ever ate at an Applebees, or went shopping at JC Penny's for some good clothes, or we out to an amusement park, or went skiing... you know, the benefits of middle class... but really, I hear what you're really saying. These heroin addicts are scum, so let's get the cops to beat them up, and throw them away into prison, and throw away the key... who cares what happens to these scumbag losers... just throw them into the garbage, flush them down the toilet... goodbye heroin trash, good riddance. Come on now. It's not the heroin you're against. It's poor people. It's trailer trash. It's white trash. I am supposed to believe that you wanted to get them arrested and jailed is your way of making our society better? I do not think so. The man who sits in a room shooting himself up with heroin is not the criminal. The criminal is the man who goes into that man's room, and locks him up like a dog. You do not care about that man's life. If ya did... you'd know he's not a criminal, but makes bad health decisions... rehab would be my first suggestion... throwing everybody in jail isn't helping Carroll County... well, it's helping the lawyers, and judges, and cops, and jailers all feel like they are doing something important, and useful, so therefore giving them purpose and meaning, in their otherwise purposeless and meaningless existence... they're survival depends on it, but it's also big money too... for every $1 we spent on education, we save $2 on prisons... but who gives a fkkk about actually helping anybody, right, you hypocritical Christians!?! You love everybody, right? Turn the other cheek, right? Bullshyt... yalls the one starting the fights... come on now! This is America! We can do better than this!

HOW MANY TIMES WERE YOU DROPPED ON YOUR HEAD AS A CHILD? The government helps too much, that's what the problem is. Give them good jobs? I know several of these people who have had good jobs and quit, bc they like staying at hone collecting their welfare. And if we don't see the heroin its not an epidemic? What the neck? Most of us don't pit ourselves in the position to see heroin. I mean pot is pretty common and I have never actually seen pot, does that mean it doesn't exist? No it means I don't hang out with people who do drugs. YOU ARE AN IDIOT.

There was a write up in Sundays paper about the heroin epidemic.A few days ago on bishop lane,a woman was passed out with a needle in her arm that had heroin in it,and had her child with her. I don't feel sorry for druggies,as we have programs to help them if they want it. The healing place has helped many addicts get their lives back.Because of the crackdown on pill mills and doctor shopping, addicts have returned to heroin and stealing/ burglarizing to feed their addiction.

You are completely clueless. I hope to God you never have someone close to you become addicted to heroin and live in fear every single day that your loved one could die from an overdose at any time. If you honestly believe that "druggies" have all kind of resources to help them, then you have no clue what you're talking about and shouldn't even comment about it. As someone who just found out that their sibling has been addicted to heroin for a year, it's the most heartbreaking experience in my life trying to look for rehab facilities or any help what so ever that doesn't involve thousands of dollars up front and a six month waiting list! Until you've dealt with this stfu with you uninformed opinions!!!!!

You people are sick. A good job would have helped that heroin addict's baby... but that baby is trash too. You do not care what is best for that baby. You want to throw her mother in prison forever, and whose that baby gonna go to? I heard one story of a man getting his baby taken away because he admitted that he smoked pot in the house, and the state gave the baby to a "good", non-drug user, and she beat the baby to death. If that foster lady would have smoked a joint, she would have been calm, and the baby would still be alive. If we did not have the failed war on drugs, that baby would have never been taken out of the father's hands in the first place... I know yall dont care about others, but that's not what Jesus Christ wanted, and I will be a better Christian and a better man, by fighting for people. A better job would have helped that mother who was addicted to heroin... It's supposed to be a free country. Yall just giv'n cops more and more reasons to mess with us... as if we don't already live in a police state to begin with. A police state, who will throw you into a dark damp prison, like they did to Bradley Manning, for speaking out against the American Empire and her killing of innocents... but we don't care about the killing of innocents abroad, b/c we don't care about the killing of innocence here. After you've invested to try to hide half of the population out of your sight, what's gonna happen when you ain't got no place to hide them? No... I do not believe you. I have personally not seen any heroin, nor have I seen anybody buglarize anybody because of it. I am not saying it doesn't happen, I am saying that I haven't seen it, and from my perspective, there's no heroin problem... there's a fascism problem. Cops, Judges, Lawyers, Security Guards, Jailers, Media to report all of these people's violence, in a favorable light of course, since the capitalist pigs protect the poor little corporations from the mean ole' democratic masses... we've got a whole industries we've got to maintain here! That's the reason there's a "heroin" epidemic. And clearly, a better economy would help. IF, we were serious about caring about one another, and making people better. But we are not. Our priorities as a people is to lock some of us up as animals, while the others laugh... to lock somebody up, for getting high, and to make them get raped, for many years... no. I do not believe you have their best-interests in mind, because you do not. The Republicans said they were going to sit out of the Recession... well, I'm going to sit out of this heroin epidemic. I'm not buying into it. Learn some g.d'd compassion, u azzholes.

This Johnny masters has serious mental problems. None of what you say makes sense. you say leaving a child with a drug addicted parent will be made better by giving said parent a job? That parent will just use the money for drugs, or will not accept the job. I care about people, the innocent people, the kids who go without food nightly because their parents sell their food for drugs, the kids who are ignored bc their parents are high as kites, the kid who has to witness their parent of od. That's who I care about. but clearly your always right in your own mind. Someone get this guy some help.

Someone, you are exactly right...Sandy has not a clue as to what she's talking about. As with most people in this conversation. You can get into a few places for help immediately, but its just to get you off the street for about 3 days. Any real program requires $3000.00 to $6000.00 to get started....other no cost up front programs take 6 or more months to get into. I've seen it first hand, there is no real help out there, no matter how much you want it.
