What in the hell is wrong with all, no, let me say, most of the drivers in LOUISVILLE? I mean, you guys act like you have never seen an interstate in your life. Where the hell do you get your license??? Stop hanging out in the exit lanes when you are NOT exiting!!!!!! And the far left lane is for those people who are doing more than the 45 average speed!!!! Get your driver's handbook out, if you have no idea what I am talking about!

Damn! You could not have stated this any better. Having lived in several states including CA, VA, IN, FL, IL, and KY, I can indisputably conclude that the absolute WORST drivers are in Louisville. Many Kentuckians claim that Hoosiers are the worst, but that is simply denial. It is aggravating at best. In addition to what you've pointed out, it would be great if more of them understood the purpose of a STOP sign and a traffic signal. Many are completely clueless. I doubt that stiffer penalties would help. I don't believe that stupid can be "fined" out of people.

Having lived in FL,I can attest that retirees from Canada are up there as far as drivers that grind your nerves, and New Jersey drivers when we lived up north, but around here they are bad for running redlights and not using a turn signal, lol.

I agree with Rippinit about the traffic signals but as far as stop signs go, well....they are really overused. In many places, a yield or give way sign would accomplish the same task while eliminating the need to come to a complete stop if nothing is coming. The point about headlights was excellent as well. Also, I wish those drivers from Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois would understand that its an actual offense to hold the left lane unless passing.

I routinely pass a side street at a tee intersection where I generally need to stop to avoid a collision. The dimwits blow thru the stop sign as if they have right of way. The stop sign has always been there and is highly visible with no obstructions near. On more than several occasions I've narrowly avoided being t-boned on my bicycle as well. One day I may decide to permit myself to be struck since I do have a strong attorney and extra money would always be nice. Really though, the laws apply to all of us. Eventually some kid will be hit there and then, nothing will change. I'd love to see a thousand dollar fine for anyone disregarding a stop sign. No, perhaps license revocation. And yes, the RIGHT lane is the slow lane. How difficult is that?

That would be a bad idea because no matter how strong an attorney you have, if they've got minimal insurance you're pretty much screwed if you get badly injured. You could always sue them but they may have nothing to get or could just file bankruptcy and then again....you're screwed.

You're definitely right. I'm just venting. Besides, the inevitable pain and discomfort would no doubt change my mind. Maybe a well timed, accurately tossed handful of roofing nails would suffice. Anyone know where I can get my hands on one of those nifty stop strips that they use? No matter. It most likely still wouldn't help. If they can't figure out that big red sign, then they would probably remain clueless about flat tires. Be safe. Drive smart.

LOL! Well, I have lived in many cities as well. Dallas was by far the worst. However, Texans DO know how to merge and use signals. I am orginally from Kentucky, and I have nothing agianst my fellow Kentuckians, except for the fact that people in Louisville driver like idiots!!!! And stop blaming the Hoosiers. I've been in several places in Indiana, and I have not seen this kind of driving. They are more assertive drivers than anything, in my opinion. I have yet to experience being behind a Hoosier in Louisville, IN THE PASSING LANES, doing 45mph. Really? Come on.

That is everywhere today, not just there. People do not actually focus on driving, but try too much multi-tasking instead .. its only going to get worse as people keep embracing gadgets more than humans.
